Bury winding up petition PETITIONS TO WIND UP (COMPANIES) In the High Court of Justice (Chancery Division) Companies Court No 3002 of 2016 In the Matter of BURY FOOTBALL CLUB COMPANY LIMITED (THE) Have a look at this ... and comment! https://m.thegazette.co.uk/notice/2556476 When you think in the greater Manchester area there are seven league sides and many more non league. But now with easy access - has the north west got too many clubs??? Edited by daib0, 17 Jun 2016, 11:09 PM.

I've just done a google search; this just out from the BURY TIMES "BURY FC had a winding up petition against them dismissed at London’s High Court today. It was the second time this year the League One club has been forced to appear at court to answer a petition brought against them by HMRC. As in February, when they previously appeared in court, the bill had already been paid by the time the ruling was made. Inland Revenue counsel Caroline Addy told the court: “The debt has been paid in full.” As a result Mr Registrar Stephen Baister agreed to dismiss the petition. The amount of the tax debt was not disclosed." So warded off again for now, but apparently living very dangerously indeed ... ---------------------------------------------- isn't there also a winding up order for Oldham right now??. |

It's a real shame to keep reading about so many famous old clubs going under. |

You thinking of the right Bury Steve? Bury finished 14th in league 1 last seasons, and haven't been out of the football league since 1894. |
