Yet again the FA prove what an out of touch bunch they are. Welcome back to the 1980's people, where Football violence is king and the England team play 'Hoofball'!
And what good is tippy tappy football?

Portugal won the Euros because they were hard to beat and could suck the life out of a game. The biggest overachiever of the tournament was Iceland, who mostly scored their goals from set pieces/corners. Leicester won the league with organisation and determination.

What the England team needed was a man manager, I think Allardyce would inspire a lot more confidence in the players than Roy Hodgson.

An absolute joke of an appointment. If anyone wants to know how the next few years will pan out, just watch 'Mike Barrett, England manager', that will spell it out loud and clear.

The only person I ever heard say that Sam Allardyce would be a good England manager is Sam Allardyce :O

What good is being just hard to beat then, you have to win!? This is international football here, we are not trying to stay up and not be relegated we are trying to win tournaments.

If Sam is the new bloody Mesiah why then has he won sweet f**k all in 22 years of management. It's not like he has just got started there now is it. In twenty two years of your so called man manangement the best he has achieved is winning the third division as was with Notts County. In the top division folks his best achievement is........wait for it........Manager of the Month!

If he is the best English manager then fine but that does not make him the right man for the job surely. His only attribute to get the job your saying is he's English. Well I might as well do it I've won as much as him or better still my wife as she knows sod all about football and has won nowt. It is a bad joke if we don't have a good enough English manager, which we don't then you have to get a foreigner who is good enough.
