Sheffield Wednesday are reported to be making an effort to sign Derby County pair Jeff Hendrik and Tom Ince. Derby have already rejected a bid of more than £7 million for Hendrik this summer from Burnley. Ince meanwhile would cost more than the £4.75m the Rams spent on him last year to sign him from Hull. Fees (and salaries, no doubt) seem to be heading up, and quickly. If Derby County get those type of fees, the idea of them snatching Gunter from Reading gets much more likely, and Reading could not compete on wages.
