Hardly applies to me, but I thought it was worth noting:

From April 1 over-65s travelling on football Stagecoach and Reading Buses services can no longer use their concessionary bus passes, adding up to £6 to the price of a Reading FC home game.

After the Chronicle ran a story about Win Povey, a long-term season ticket holder concerned the cut would price her out of the Madejski Stadium, the football club announced plans to pay 80 per cent of OAP's bus fares.

Until the end of the season pensioners with concessionary bus passes will pay only £1 to get to matches against Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers, Rotherham United and Wigan Athletic.
Likely not a huge sum for the club, but a nice gesture to their senior fans, many who may have been long-time supporters.
