3-5 another game with alot of goals, we go down 2 nil before having a double from Jobi seperated by Tabb slotting one in. Norwich bring it back to 3-3 but Harte scores two wonder freekicks late on to clinch it. Edited by Hobnob, 8 Feb 2011, 11:09 PM.

Keeping it tight at the back seems to be a bit of a problem for us at the moment. We are too prone to getting caught by the sucker punch, as was painfully obvious against Cardiff and QPR. |

http://www.hunchers.com/predictions/championship-league/2011-02-12/Norwich-vs-Reading/92951/GameScore.aspx bit of a strange set-up this, but it refers to our game at the weekend! Norwich - Only 3 home clean sheets this season ! These predict a 1-0 Reading win: http://www.windrawwin.com/predictionsnew.asp?l=DIV1&i=77214 Edited by daib0, 8 Feb 2011, 10:44 PM.

TBH after watching QPR I feel alot less confident, outclassed by just 10 men! Niorwichs strikers have only scored 2 in 10 (both by Grant Holt) if we can block Holt out I can see us getting all 3 2-1 Reading, Long McAnuff, Hoolahan |

"TBH after watching QPR I feel alot less confident" Ay, not to worry if confidence is not being reduced by a third each time! |

Comfortable 3-0 for Norwich. We played poor at home in the first half but then the red card changed things and we had not long recently turned a 3-1 defecit around to a 4-3 win. Sat we are away at Carrow Road and we don't appear to be that confident! This I believe will have a knock on effect, nothing too drastic mind! |

Well, BR and his team have turned this match into a cup game with a virtual 'knock-out' penalty in play. Now I'm no optimist, but The Royals are exceedingly good in cup games. BR will want us to throw everything at Norwich and, if we do, I think we might get rewarded. My only concerns are: 1) We really missed Legs against QPR, and Tabb simply was not up to it. Neither is Jem for that matter. My solution would be to slot Harte into a holding role and put Cummings at leftback. Harte might not be quick, but he reads the game well, can tackle, and has a good pass on him. He's no Legs, but he's better than Tabb, and I'm really not sure Howard has much in the defensive locker either. Another idea would be to go 4-5-1 and help our lads inefficiencies with extra bodies, but in the absence of a real AM, I'm not sure this would be all that effective in attack. 2) Church is woeful, and BR seems reluctant to start Manset. No idea what is going on with Hunt right now, but believing him to be injured I'm concerned BR is just going to play the frustrating and familiar 'loyal royal' role and stick with Church. Now I know BR's perseverence with Long paid off, but the difference was that Long was still playing well while not scoring. Church simply isn't. I'd start Manset and sub him off in the second half if it doesn't look like working out. We bought a striker because we needed one, so let's start using him. Prediction: - if we swap Tabb and Church for alternatives: 2-1 Reading - if we keep Tabb and Church: 2-0 Norwich |
