After 169 years, the prison next to the forbury is to close. The Jail that once interned the great Oscar Wilde is to be demolished but nothing is yet planned to be put in its place,a bit like Kebe going to Palace then

You can't tar all families with the same brush and if the government stopped trying to bomb countries that have no concern of ours and stop giving our bloody money away to countries that hate us they could look after our old people and build new homes instead of costly prisons.Im with you on the poor pensioners homes being shut down,it's a disgrace, someone should get that tosser Cameron and tell him charity begins at home, not to people abroad who are to idle to help themselves. |

They do the crime ,they do the time, all old enough to know right from wrong, if they were installed with it at home by their parents. Most of them had never worked yet cry for help when they are in trouble , sorry mate cant blame Cameron for this he didn't mug the old man, and if it cost me £20 to get to Wrexham , why should criminal families not pay the same. Drive past Reading Jail and see the state of them waiting to go and visit. They would not qualify for a pitch on the A33, far to chavvy . lol

There is a big concrete pot of flowers outside Reading prison. All the flowers have died because of the hot weather. Thats all Camerons fault as well

Yes,when we had a drought a few years ago a Labour politician did a rain dance and it rained the next day,Cameron would not dream of that,so the plant dying is his fault

There is a legend that says the treasure from the Abbey is buried somewhere on the prison site. |

Maybe but due to Oscar Wilde it has put Reading on the map as much as the football team. |
