The days had been thoroughly interesting enough for Olga, though if only a bit mundane. Perhaps it was the magic of the Crimea that made things seem so much more spectacular than they actually were. Alexei being the little boy that he was, and his 'brush with death', though it was largely self-imposed. The excitement of that was enough to have driven Alexandra crazy, though Alexandra was a woman with a quiet fortitude, and Olga knew that well. Her father had met with Stolypin...whom Alexandra intently disliked. Anastasia, of course, had saw fit to excitedly run about and disregard teas. Marie and Tatiana were somewhere being cute. Leaving Olga on the patio with some books, and she quietly read them as she occasionally took stock of the breathtaking view around her. |
