He had called my attention yet, I saw the episode of Queer as Folk, but he did not like him. Now in Blue Rookie he is sensational.

I do not recall exactly what was the L&O episode about, but I do remember him in Forever Knight. He made a pretty decent vampire in a kind o a strange show. And I also just saw him a couple of days ago in SG-1. Short role but good.

I saw the episode of Dead Like Me a few weeks ago. I realized that I´ve already seen it a while ago and I remembered, that I thought that the artist Ben is playing is very cute. :D

All the shows he was in Excluding FlashPoint sound so odd.
Lots of quirky projects for sure, but he's ALWAYS very entertaining to watch. Two doozies:

The Hunger - And She Laughed
--Twilight Zone meets the Red Shoe Diaries
--VERY unusual sex scene with Jennifer Beals (Flashdance, Lie to Me)
--Adorable scenes of Ben as a besotted guy the morning after (who's blown off by the woman descending into a psychotic break)

Strange Frequency - Room Service
--Another weird short about an over-the-top washed up rock star dueling with a hotel maid
--Ben plays a reporter interviewing the rocker--played by John Taylor of Duran Duran
--Notable scene where he's dueling John doing shots--and gets drunk under the table literally trying to keep up

He's also kind of cute in a more normal way as the boyfriend of the Mountie in Stone Undercover. I wasn't as fond of him as Vachon in Forever Knight as I expected from some Canadian fan comments. Just never could get over the bad mullet wig. Plus, he mostly had this whole glassy eyed, out of it demeanor as that character. They wasted him, IMO.

I thought he was awesome and so funny in Queer as Folk. The man can really throw a hissy fit! Also, loved him as the fussy, tortured artist in the Dead Like Me episode. I'm waiting for the DVDs with his two episodes of Monk to come from Netflix. From his Demo reel, that role as a politician looks like it could be interesting.

ETA: By FAR his best role and the thing every fan of his should see is Would Be Kings. So far, I've only been able to find a DVD that is an edited down 90 minute version of the full 4-hour mini series. It's awesome, but I'm dying to see the whole thing.

Here's the entire 4 hour version. Someone posted the link to Would be Kings in one of the first fanforum threads.

Movie Link- Would Be Kings

The novamov.com version is the best and is divided into 2 parts.

Enjoy! :flower:

P.S. If you are a fan of Ben...you will really enjoy this movie! It was a great showcase of Ben's amazing talent!
OMG, THANK YOU!!! I can't believe I missed that. I'll definitely check this out and watch it tonight. That is if I can get it downloaded OK. I only pay for Time Warner's cheapest broadband, and it's not great for downloading huge files. :uhh:

ETA: Are you sure it's the full thing? At the top is says it's only 1 hour 33 minutes, which is the version I already have on DVD. Or is the novamov.com different from the others?

Does anyone know how tall Ben is? Until last episode I thought he was at least 6'0 feet tall but now am not so sure.. He looked way shorter than I imagined him to be in last week's episode which was kinda weird lol.. But at least he is taller than Missy
