I know he speaks French fluently and it wouldn't be a surprise as much as Croatian. But I would love that he replies just one thing in French.
- I'm tired of feeling like I'm never ready. I mean really ready for anything. I'm constantly faking.
- McNally, listen to me. I've been with you since you started. I've seen how far you've come and
I'm telling you right now there's nobody I'd rather go through that door with, nobody.
So if you can't trust yourself on that, you trust me. Cause you're ready.

Yeah I know so too and I planned on asking him if I had the chance to talk to him when I was in Toronto back in January but I didn't :( You speak French too? :) I talked to Peter Mooney and he knows a little French, he said a sentence in French for me

Yes, French is my mother tongue. I hope that Peter Mooney join Twitter, so we could ask him something in French. And maybe for Ben Bass too.

I'm from Croatia and yesterday at #RBParty I asked him to greet croatian fans. After a minute he responded in Croatian (grammatically correct and quickly), which surprised me, especially because English is his first language and our language (Croatian) is not easy to write or to speak. So I think there is still a possibility that at some point in his life he was in Croatia.
Well considering there was that line about him possibly living in Croatia and then he typed in croatian haha... I'd say there's a good possibility he lived there for a period of time!

Also, I thought he had some brazilian in him but I don't know why I think that...

His wife's name - Konechny - isn't it croatian ? Maybe not ... Seems russian (????).
Perhaps she was answering for him, and she knows croatian.

As for the speculation that he has brazilian blood, I don't think it's true. He doesn'l look like brazilian men, despite the dark eyes and hair.
Although, we have people from every place of the world here, especially in the south of the country bc of the immigrant families who came to Brazil to work in agriculture in 19th e 20th centuries. That's why brazilian passaports are always wanted by thieves - anyone can "look like brazilian". :D

Konechny sounds polish/czech to me :ermm:

But wasn't her name Carswell before they were married and is now Laura Carswell Bass?

You're right. It sounds polish.
I think her single name is Konechny - seems that she used this name in her firsts works (according to imdb).

Also ...
Konechny is a difficult name for an actress.
Maybe she decided to change for a more "artistic" name.

Ah, you might be right about her taking a more "artistic" name indeed :)

Nathy & RB4333 - the line that said he speaks French fluently has been removed from his imdb profile.

I asked him that question about his French via Jamie and StarryMag - not sure if it will be answered.

Hopefully!

Yah we asked Peter Mooney and he replied back to us :p he definitely tried.

Yah Laura took Carswell as her stage name.

don't know anything about the origins of "Konechny", but here's a bio about her Dad:

http://www.epicpt.com/main_biodex_bk.htm

Remember the wedding pic from US mag, where BB mentions about his father-in-law being musical, etc...?

I don't know why but I always thought Ben Bass was Jewish, I hate stereotyping but his dark looks always had me go hmm? As for Laura to me she looks like a mix possibly Eurasian maybe part Eastern European part Filipino. I don't know!

I'm not the master at all these things but I'm pretty sure Judaism is a religion as opposed to an ethnicity/race. Anyone can be Jewish...

You're absolutely right, it's not an ethnicity

It depends where you live. In my country actually it's a lot more common for men and women to be with black hair and brown/black eyes. I'm like that, my grandfather was like this too (my father is just with blue/grey eyes). So yeah in Europe it's quite common to meat people with dark hair and eyes.

As for the exact Ben looking type well I do have some coworkers that have something in common with him, but still very different from him.

Sorry if this was mentionned earlier, but i read this interview of Ben

Ben's Starry Mag interview

Quote:

Q) What's a typical day on set like for you?

A) Long! We work long, hard hours. I get up around 5:30am. I try to get up as late as I possibly can. I get picked up around 5:50am. We drive to work and when we arrive I say hello to the third A.D. She'll ask me if I want something to eat and usually I do. I'll have eggs and oatmeal.

Due to imdb.com i always thought Ben was a vegan, but apparently not

I'd be impressed with a vegan who has that body :woot:

Maybe he's the other kind of vegan? In French there are two different words, one for those who are strict vegans (no meat, no fish, no dairy products, no eggs, etc) and another one for those who just don't eat meat
