Nathy, I think that's vegetarian! (People who still eat dairy but not meat).

Though I thought when someone visited set they said Ben was eating street meat or something so I'm not even sure if he's a vegetarian.

Oh I thought vegan was short for vegetarian  Learning something new everyday :p

I remember that too about the street meat. As for his (delicious) body well, he says that he's working out whenever he can so it might still work, even if he's a vegetarian

I remember that some sportsmen are vegans and they do have hot body, so I guess it's still possible. But they do a lot of training and I suppose they take some proteins (in pills form).

As for vegans and vegetarians Natasha explained it fine. Vegans don't eat nothing that comes from the animals - including eggs and milk. I don't know however how they see eating of fish and if it called it meat.

Vegetarians don't eat meat, but they do eggs and milk products.

I"m not sure, but I think he'll have to eat meat to build up a body like that.
I mean, he needs a diet with lots of protein for that.

Yeah. You can be lean and muscular as a vegetarian. But it's REALLY hard to bulk up with just vegetable protein.

I know this sounds funny and not in the good way, but I'm actually glad that he's not vegetarian or vegan. Nothing personal against that really, I just don't think that people should avoid meat proteins. I actually think that we need those proteins and we can't always find them in the vegetables.

So I always welcome people that eat meat and milk products.

ETA: I don't want to make new post, because yeah it's off topic I agree. No one is talking about eating only meat, I'm talking about the fact that I believe that we need to eat meat occasionally. And of course that's personal choice, just like smoking is personal choice. However we all have preferences and we have the right to voice them.

If mods want however, they could delete the post.

I'm sorry but that's just rude. Anyone can make their own choices and should be respected. I personally think that we don't need meat proteins but people who eat nothing but meat? Fine, they do what they want with their lives. I don't agree with that but I'm not gonna say anything.

I think your comment is inappropriate and has nothing to do in this thread, but that's just my opinion.

Easy. I don't think any insult was meant. But let's just stipulate that life choices of the cast is none our business and try not to take it upon ourselves too often to either approve or disapprove in general. Sound good?

Of course I agree that this is choice of the cast. I was just saying my opinion that I don't find it bad or anything if he is not a vegan like it says on imdb.

And I don't mean anything against vegans or vegetarians, I just commented the possibility of him not being one.

We should also agree that he is looking hot no matter what he eats. Right? And that's what we like to see in the TV.

I'm sorry LAwoman but respect means a lot to me and I felt this was totally disrespectful, especially this ticked me:

Like who do you think you are to say you welcome people that eat meat and milk products? Some kind of superior being? I'm stopping myself now in this argument because 1) it's OT and 2) I may start losing my cool. I just had to say something.

Well it's been a while since this topic has been discussed LOL, but I guess he's actually not a vegetarian because he said...

BenBassOfficial: @CheekyisMonkey beef and broccoli. easy. i hope ;)

When someone asked what he was making his mom for dinner. I mean, maybe we wasn't making it for himself too but that would be strange. LOL.

Even when calypso went to set - she said they were making BBQ skewers for cast & crew and they looked they were meat-skewers and Ben was handed a couple.

If he is on twitter tomorrow night for the RB party thing, I'm gonna ask if he could share his workout routine. I wanna know what he does to get and maintain that body.

I remembered that. I meant this is something we're hearing from ben's "mouth", as opposed to speculation.

I think that's a good question. I know some people spend all their time at the gym and some play sports/participate in hobbies instead.... I'm curious which type of person he is. I'm gonna guess the gym because of the fact that he moves around a lot. It's kind of hard to do summer-y activities when you spend half the year in Ontario fall/winters ;)

And he has talked about "enjoying" working out and that he goes to the gym. I would love to know what type of workout he does because he is in fabulous shape and he isn't, you know 25.
