Only gonna make a few comments.... Don't appreciate the God's timing comment, at all. But will let it slide because it & the whole priest scene obviously represents Andy's anger, confusion, and frustration with Sam leaving. After all, the ep is called A Little Faith. And she has the having faith convo with Traci. Luke said McNally but wasn't willing to physically bet on her with his money. THE SCENE....the double meanings, the no-kiss face caresses, the EYES, the bridal pickup, the nose nuzzling...just everything. Definitely a good distraction I needed. @svugirl thanks for the explanation about the look - it makes sense. I guess I was really tired when I watched this. @Cythy you're right, I haven't noticed that before. Now for the episode, there are mostly two things that I liked. I liked the whole episode, but two story arcs were the most interesting for me. The one obviously is the Sam&Andy arc. On one hand I wanted to happen something between them, on the other hand the moment I saw them in bed I knew that this will be a problem later. I liked the encounters in the bar and how Andy subconsciously had thought about him. The make out scene was good, but a bit too much choreographed - the one in the first season seemed more real. At least we finally got such scene, so I was happy the first time I saw it. However I've seen it more than once and I guess I'm starting to notice some things. I liked Traci undercover. Excluding the Sting operation, I think that this is the first time she has been Undercover. Andy, Gail and Chris have had more opportunities. She was calm, chose story and sticked to the plan. I even liked her in the operation more than Andy. Maybe I'm biased, because I really like Traci. The other thing that I really liked in this episode was Dov. The same goes for him, we haven't seen him going undercover and I thought that he didn't have that in him - I mean we all remember Season 1 and his mistakes , but he blew me away in this episode (not only the character, but also Gregory Smith). I have to admit that at first I didn't like him, but he grew on me later. He did exactly what Boyd told them to do - he knew what he knows (the dealer that supplied his brother and where to find him), he knew what he doesn't know (how is he operating, which is why he got to know him), he chose a character and sticked to it (the moment he calls the police was priceless. Not very realistic to get the beer and the phone and no one noticed him, but it was good plan), he kept it partly real (he did talk about his brother and his suicide apparently from overdose) and he got that dealer to trust him. He was good, in fact I have to tell you from all the rookies I've seen Undercover, I liked him the most. He not only succeed to lie someone, he was able to pretend that he doesn't blame the guy for his brother death. He used the case to get revenge without even showing a bit of emotional breakdown. That's a strength!I wonder if this will backfire him in Season 3, after all he did screw up a dealer. I wouldn't be surprised if this will cause him some problems. (I'm not sure that this is the correct quote, but I think that it was something like that) That was one of the best lines in that episode - the way he said it, the body language, the delivery, the look in the end to Chris. It was flawless. P.S: Dov with a hat reminds me of Ephram Brown with a hat in Season 4 of Everwood, but he looked better here than in that episode in Everwood. He was however very serious in this episode which is rare for Dov. |

Oh the look from Best Laid Plans? You're welcome. Hope it helped. Now is not a time for me to try to word things, but I tried. I hope that fic I linked you to was helpful. What I like about the makeout was that it showed hesitancy and tenderness....both very in character. That's probably why it seemed choreographed to you though....is because it was supposed to represent that hesitancy and those first time feelings (since they didn't stop in this one & there was no rush). That's why a lot of people feel this is more like a first kiss for them. |

No I had no problem in the hesitancy, just their movements were too much professional if you ask me. I've seen a lot of movies sex scenes and theirs seemed played so flawless that it looked like choreography instead of real thing. It was good though, because the actors have chemistry. I have to admit that when I watched the episode the first time I appreciated a lot more their story than Dov's, because I wanted to happen something between them already (shipper thoughts). On second watch however I was more impressed in his story - there was double meaning there (even triple). |

I didn't see it as too professional but some people see it differently than others, like some prefer Hot & Bothered over this one. To me, it was the best love scene ever...tv or movies. Just looked so real and you actually felt that feeling in your chest watching it, I still get it despite how many times I've seen it. That's Emmy worthy acting, especially her eyes (that are literally twinkling) when she stares at him before he pulls her shirt toward him. Edited by svugirl, Mar 2 2012, 03:39 AM.

I'm not saying that they were bad, I mean they were good. Just a slight preference over Hot & Bothered. I don't know why, maybe because it was their first make out attempt. I think that both actors did good job with looking, touching and all that stuff. If I have to watch video with Sam/Andy scenes I'm sure that I will appreciate Hot & Bothered and the last three episodes from Season 2 assembled in one video. That would be intense for watching. As for best tv sex scene (although it didn't end with sex) I would say Max/Liz in Sexual Healing(Roswell). That was something, but they are my favorite TV couple so I'm biased. |

My Rock You Baby video (page 1 in my montage thread) has scenes from all 4, though most of my videos do actually, along with other people's, cuz those scenes are what people use the most as far as I know. As for a video that has all 4 of those with the scene audio only, I'm not sure. You'd have to look on YT. Edited by svugirl, Mar 2 2012, 06:06 AM.

There is youtube clip with audio for the last three episodes from Season 2. In fact I watched that before watching the whole episode. Yep, sometimes I might be obsessive in ships. I'll check your video. |

What is funny is that during the original airing of the episode I didn't appreciate the comment at all. However, after watching the next two episodes, I realized that in a way it was delivering a subtle message. Had the timing gone any differently, they might not have discovered Sam on time - the timing worked out in the end and there is always a bigger plan in action. |

('cause it's Friday afternoon, and this is a RB locations question, I'll wander over to this thread... )Yes, the real "Alpine Hotel" stood in for RB's "Alpine Inn." It was scheduled for demo'n last summer, to be replaced with -- 'cause it's Toronto, afterall -- another condo! It might end up on a "RB Lost Sites" tour! |

Yeah, there's at least 3 or 4 if not more with the finale clips together. But not sure of any with H&B included. And thanks. |

Same here. I don't like the comment, but after I saw the whole finale, I saw how it represented her confusion, etc. She was kinda lost. |

Sorry, I'm afraid I'm being a teeny bit sarcastic - 'cause the demo of buildings (RB or otherwise) for yet-another-condo is one of my pet peeves! (how many new condos does one friggin' city need!?!) Since sillygyrl8 is contemplating a blog, the "Alpine" might end up on her 'driving tour' of RB sites, maybe? |

Are we watching 2.12 and 2.13 together like they did this summer or are we separating it into two weeks? |

I was gonna separate them, (& satisfy the ending feeling by watching the McSwarek finale moments after), but you have a point.....we did watch them together the night they aired. So I guess watch both? |
