@evelinav - I think that a lot of the season 2 extras were actually posted somewhere (I don't remember where but my DVD had an issue so I ended up watching them online as I waited for my copy to come)

I agree - & for S1 it was mostly the "Stryker Reports" (made by & shown on Global tv) also available on-line. So unless you really want/need the eps on DVD...

Oops posted this before seeing the earlier replies so "stryke" this!

A 'Celery Stalk'

I have a sneaking feeling that the RBTV videos will be the specials for Season 3...

I uploaded the extras part on the S2 DVDs named "Every Day is Still a First". Around 2:50 is where Ben and Missy discuss the Sam and Andy relationship (where Sam has an Andy-shaped whole in his heart), but watch the whole thing cuz there's other stuff. I know some of you would like to see it especially out of the US/Canada. I haven't seen it uploaded anywhere else yet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_jsXd9LzbQ&feature=youtu.be (I am including the link. I can't get the vid to embed with the flash, though the code is there!)

I PREFER THAT YOU DO NOT POST THIS ANYWHERE ELSE, BUT IF YOU DO, TO PLEASE CREDIT ME. I do have it on my youtube, but PLEASE DO NOT RE-UPLOAD IT SINCE I DO NOT OWN IT ANYWAYS. :D

ETA:
I don't know I had missed that but Holy Moly Thank You Vixenali (see what I did there? Holy Moly + rhymes :D )

I love how Ben laughs at his own words  And it's funny how he seems to have a hard time saying that Sam is in love with Andy! And then Missy's like "yay he finally said it" :haha:

Those two, I can't even.

He doesn't have to pay anything when he gets back just for a couple DVDs :flower: He can maybe try at Best Buy? For places to buy them, the canadian of the board should help you out.

He can buy the DVDs pretty much anywhere DVDs are sold.

Some places: Best Buy, Future Shop, Wal-Mart. You'll probably find them for sure at those three.

If he's staying for 5 days he won't have to pay anything at the airport. I'm not sure what country he's flying back to, but usually over 3 days you get up to like $1,000 in shopping goods that are tax free.

To leave Canada, he won't have to pay anything. It's just when entering the country he came from will he have to figure out the local laws. But for 5 days it's probably nothing.

Make sure you have a DVD player that can play NTSC (or a region-free DVD player). If you from a country that has PAL you may not be able to play the DVD unless your DVD player can play NTSC.

As for the extras on S3-- seriously we need better/more extras. I want commentaries, gag reels, deleted scenes! I mean, how is it that none of these exist on previous seasons???

I'm guessing the country he will fly back to is France :) I had a DVD and a bunch of stuff that I bought in Toronto (stayed 7 days) and I didn't pay anything nor did I declare what I had, it's allowed.

And I totally agree with you on S3 extras!

See when we go from the US to Canada (ie. if I go shopping in Buffalo) we have purchase limits (I think 3 days =$750 and 24 hours is like $150) If you exceed that amount you have to pay "duty" or taxes on the remaining goods.

My parents buy a lot of stuff across the border (definitely more than $150 in 24 hours) and they just pay the taxes when they cross. If they were "caught" for not declaring the customs officer would just make them pay the taxes (13% on the cost of the goods) and put them on a target list so that the next time they could be searched or flagged.

For something as small as DVDs he could probably just stuff them in his carry-on and no one would be the wiser.

Yes but we're talking overseas flights here. I guess the rules are different also depending on how you enter/leave a country (by car the rules may not be the same than by plane) and even then, it depends where you're flying back to I guess. I've never declared any souvenirs I bought because on the forms we're handed in the plane the amount is like more than 1'000$ and I would never buy for so much.

It still applies in a flight (ie. if I were to fly from the U.S. to Canada). But again, it's Canada customs. French customs, US customs, etc. are all different and have different laws.

Here's Canada's: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/pub/bsf5056-eng.html (This would apply only to Canadian citizens who travel outside of the country and are looking to return to Canada with goods).

Indeed so since he's not a Canadian coming back to Canada with goods this won't apply to him. I was telling my own experience since I flew to Canada from and to France, which I believe is the case for magicmum's friend :) I'm positive he won't have to pay anything coming back to France.
