Does anyone know why my "Inbox" is missing when I'm on the page? It disappeared and now the only way I have to check my PMs is to click on my profile and PM myself and go to the inbox that way. I want my inbox back!!

Moved this topic, I can't seem to find out what's wrong. I'm wondering if any other members are having this problem as well? Briarrose would you be able to send me a screenshot from your main page view where the inbox is missing? |

Yeah mine as well, and I'm using Chrome..so that's why I was wondering if this just occurred or if you've had this problem from the very start? |

I had one before, and it suddenly disappeared. I was using Safari, but I'm using IE 9 at the moment - I switch back and forth between them. It also does not show up on my iPhone screen (which uses Safari as well)... Here's a screenshot from IE:![]() It was there for a long time, and I'm not sure when it disappeared to be honest. The same thing happened to me as Briarrose. My screen shot looks exactly the same. The inbox used to be at the top right corner, but I noticed a few days ago that it disappeared :/ |

I just deleted the cache on both browsers, and completely cleared them and deleted all temp files... Still not showing back up ;/ |

For now, try going to the bottom left and choosing a different theme. I use Ixionabled, for instance. Maybe Kiren made some change to the default theme that accidentally knocked the Inbox link out? |

I'm not sure that it's theme related. I use the default one and I can access the Inbox. So far though both complains are from users that are new - meaning they have less than 100 posts. Maybe that's the problem? I don't know, it's just a guess. |

I hope Kiren sees this and can look into it, cuz I use the main theme as well and I have the inbox link. You also seem to be missing the Preferences link. Any other Rookie group members that have this problem?? |

My inbox link has been missing for a while. At least a few weeks, but I thought that there was a change and it happened to everyone. Also, next to my name, in the top left corner of the screen, it says "Resend Validation Information". It's a clickable link, and one time I clicked on it, but then it said something like my account didn't need to be validated. ETA: oh wow, what did you do? my inbox just appeared again. it's fixed. Okay, so I did a little research on the interwebs and it could be that you never validated your account. When you registered you must have received an e-mail asking you to confirm your account. If you can't find it, just press "resend validation information" and I think you'll receive the email again. Hope that works! |

I tried changing the theme as well. I don't think it is related. When my inbox disappeared I also got the "Resend Validation Information" thing next to my name just like Ninja. When I clicked on it it gave me the same message as well and didn't do anything else. It doesn't really bother me that its not there, but I thought since someone else brought it up that more people were having the same issues as well. |

I clicked on the "Resend Validation Information" link a few weeks ago when my inbox first disappeared, but nothing happened then. I didn't click on it today. It's really weird, but I'm not going to question it. Just happy it's back again. Tess, maybe you fixed it without knowing it, while you were researching the issue just now. |

I think it has something to do with the Rookies category ninja, cuz I noticed that you just reached 101 posts which means you're an advanced member now. I'm going to look into it a bit further and if I can't figure it out I'll contact Kiren. |
