TV's Fanatic's interview with Travis Mile is posted. (Link isn't added to the list yet.)
"Rookie Blue Exclusive: Travis Milne on Life, Love and Boiling Points"

I love his responses. He seems very grateful and passionate about the show and his character.

Thanks, ginza-girl! This part made tonight's episode seem more exciting than the promos did. Since he mentioned a particular shot, it seems he's seen it? Probably to do the Commentary:

Quote:

Is there anything you can share with us about tonight's episode?
It's the first episode that we go back and forth through one day with different perspectives. If you've ever seen the film Jackie Brown, it's basically like that... We're playing with time a bit. It all kind of comes to a boiling point for Chris. At the end of the episode, one of the rookie's jobs is at stake and one of them will be in a lot of trouble. It's a very, very intense episode and it has some of the best shots I've seen on the show so far.

The 312 Roundtable is now up. Very interesting this time. There were some differences of opinion, which is always fun.

I can't believe Christine kept as much of my answers as she did. The only thing she cut was this from the end of my answer to the last question, which I'm actually glad didn't ma"ke it in there because I was already feeling like I wish I'd toned it down just a little and this was the harsh stuff I regretted.

"Mostly because of the way the last 3 episodes were written, but also because even before that the difficulties were written as emotional constipation on both their parts instead of passion and fireworks."

"Emotional Constipation" :lmaoatu: Oh I couldn't have said it better. I can see why you're glad it was cut, but man you so hit the nail on the head! I can't believe that the writers don't understand why people are frustrated with the Sam and Andy stuff this season. It's almost like they turned the writing for this couple over to someone who knows nothing about the character's history and love for eachother. The only thing I can figure is that if there turns out to be a love triangle for Sam next season, maybe they thought that it would be more believable if they toned down the McSwarek heat this season. I mean it would be almost impossible to imagine anyone coming between the Sandy from Season 2.

Do the writers, or more specifically Tassie actually read the roundtable stuff? I'm curious if on some level they feel like they maybe dropped the ball with Sam and Andy, not that I think they'd admit it.

OMG, :lmaoatu: :lmaoatu: That was hilarious, but OH, so true!!! Perfect description, it's understandable why you wouldn't want it published. That line could have provided some beneficial insight for the writing team from the veiwers. Although, I do understand why it was edited from the article. The thing about it is that probably all of the true/blue McSwarek fans are feeling the same way. From the first episode this whole season has been off Kilter in regards to McSwarek. I'm sure it was done for a reason. If it doesn't change for the positive next season I bet fans will become discouraged and start to lose interest. Who knows how long the fans want to be strung along with out any Sandy zest. It seems like the ending delivered a major blow and left a lot of fans unhappy. The rest of this seasons storylines were awesome, but the Sandy story was a huge bummer. Another factor is the promos give away all of the big Sandy surprises ahead of time. The promo takes the impact out of the scene. Promos used to build you up with suspense, not reveal the actual scene.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the round tables this season. You all did a wonderful job. I think having our members partake in the round tables was a great idea. Hopefully, TWC members will be invited to take part in the discussion again next year.

While I agree about the promos... there wasn't really that much to flaunt when it came to Sam and Andy! I mean...they were kind of limited!

Great answers everyone. I have to agree, there was just something unsatisfying about this finale. But Oliver is always spot on...never disappointed with him.
