But where are they shooting Saving Hope? From the tweets Noelle Carbone sends they are still filming. Does that mean that they already found a new studio because Saving Hope and Rookie Blue shoot at the same studio, am I right? |

Rookie Blue and Big Brother have been removed. Saving Hope was allowed to stay until October so it wouldn't disrupt their filming. So currently, yes, Saving Hope is still there. |

I have a totally different question about the Peck family residence. In the sneak peek, Gail says all houses in the suburbs look weird to her, as if she never grew up there. But the Peck house looked pretty suburban to me. Where is that actually filmed, and where do you think it is supposed to be located in the story? Is it possible a relatively new construction house like that could be in any of the neighborhoods of Toronto? Like Rosedale or something? Or would it have to be out in a suburb somewhere and Gail was just saying even her own neighborhood always seemed weird to her? |

Well, the only thing I could think of is in the suburbs all the houses look different but when you get into surveys where there is a large housing development all the houses look the same. Where I live you drive down the streets and every house is the same, it's kinda Wisteria Lane like. I could be waaayyy off though. I moved out of the suburbs when I was like 4! |

No clue on where the Peck house really is, but I will say that there are houses in Toronto proper that are suburban-looking but aren't suburban. Houses in *Toronto's* suburbs (like Etobicoke, North York, etc.) have like front porches, yards, etc. Here's a neighbourhood in the heart of Toronto (right near University of Toronto): http://goo.gl/maps/Qng3T Looks kinda suburban to me. Just lacks the land size (no real front yard, probably a tiny backyard). Here's a neighbourhood in an actual Toronto suburb (in Etobicoke): http://goo.gl/maps/QPOAO Edited by StarryDreamer, Aug 22 2013, 08:05 PM.

Thanks. Yeah, that first one looks sort of suburban, but also more historic. The Peck house looked sort of new and McMansion-ish to me. Those sorts of developments seem like they're usually in suburbs, so I wondered if Toronto had any sections of infill redevelopment within Toronto proper or something. |

If you're asking about the Peck house in 4.2 that was on Shaver N in Etobicoke (for sure a tear down of 1960s/70s house replaced by recent build) Though it's possible whiteshirts might live in that 'hood, more likely to be more upscale - possibly The Kingsway if Etobicoke, but in city not as posh as Rosedale or Forest Hill - I see her somewhere like North Toronto (Lytton Park +) & a short trip from one of the private girls schools where she'd be naughty at! ;) Think the Etobicoke house was just a coincidence: one of their go-to filming hoods where it's possible to park equipment on the streets without the neighbours screaming...too loudly! & yes, new construction happens all the time in Rosedale but the results are more elaborate than Pecks' house (land values) |

Thanks, Hawley! It was hard for me to know what to make of that classic Gail line without the local context. |

For fun, here's house beside 'real' Peck house in Etobicoke (glimpse of Pecks' to left & you can ser this one in background of RB scene) This is original house updated instead of teardown: mid $800,000s so Pecks would be closer to $1M love #RealEstatePorn http://m.myvisuallistings.com/jfs/56782 |

There is one thing I really do not get about this show, its Canada in winter, why are they all running around with jackets unzipped and no hats or gloves? I'm from Minnesota and in December/January there is no way I'm running around with my jacket unzipped. Can someone please enlighten me? (From looking at ep 12 promo pics) |

Cause they're nuts? Yah, I don't have an answer for you. I will tell you that during the filming for 4x13 it was HELLA cold here. Like there were times where I thought FOR SURE I had frost bite on my toes after being outside for 30 minutes. I've seen them wearing gloves in certain scenes/episodes. It might just be part of the scene that they have the jacket open, etc. Also keep in mine that they are wearing a lot of layers-- undershirt/t-shirt, uniform shirt, "bulletproof" aka cardboard vest and jacket. And I think they're given warming packs to wear as well under their clothes or in pockets. The lack of hats is probably just a hair thing. Wouldn't want them to mess it up ;) |

Can someone explain the difference between CTV and CTV2 ? Do they have completely different programming? Is it true that not many people get CTV2 ? Are there live streaming links for shows on CTV2 ? |

CTV is the main channel. CTV 2 is on a higher channel is has all their "B-roll" shows. Yes and no. CTV 2 might carry the repeats of what was on CTV. CTV carries all the A-roll shows (ie. Once Upon a Time, Big Bang Theory). It's possible, especially if you don't have cable. Honestly I have no idea what channel CTV 2 is even on, so it's probably up on the dial. Can't help you with the last question cause I wouldn't even know where to look for something like that. Edited by StarryDreamer, Sep 5 2013, 08:37 AM.

I've always assumed that because its a summer show that they try to maintain "warm" weather as long as possible even when there is snow on the ground. |

I'm not sure this is the right spot for my stupid question... Does anybody know if TPS would still pay for your medical expenses if you are suspended? |

Well, we have universal health care. Meaning when we leave the hospital/doctor we don't have a bill to pay Not sure if that answers your question though. |

First of all thank you for your quick reply. It answers it partly. There are expenses like physical therapy too. But I will just do some more research. So thank you. |
