Although, even had I shipped Landy (meaning had Sam not been in the picture), the SECOND that Jo walked onto the scene it would have been over because I actually like Luke/Jo (sorry to those of you who were rooting for Luke/Gail at the end of last season)
I wouldn't say I'm pro Luke/Jo, but I'm TERRBILY interested in what came BEFORE this whole mess. I would have liked a flashback or prequel to when they were together and happy. Even now, I kind of smile imagining it.
I am sure Luke was an awesome bf to Jo. They seemed to really click.

B ) I was not clear. My point was that after 2.01, it was clear that the chemistry between Luke and Jo was stronger than the chemistry of Luke and Andy

Ya even from the end of 2x01 they were flirty.

@Cythy - I completely agree. There was a really palpable current between them that was, for lack of a better descriptor, INTENSE. I think at this point though, things between them are so broken that I'm not sure they'd ever be back at that place they started.

I thought Luke/Jo (or the actors) had awesome chemistry together. Though it may have been on purpose. I think we were supposed to see something with them that we didn't see when it came to him and Andy.

Either way, I'm excited for Luke/Eric's return!

I also thought there was quite a chemistry between Eric and Camille  And as much as I hated how Jo behaved towards Andy, or how I would've like Luke/Gail I would've had no problem with the Luke/Jo storyline.

I agree there was undeniable chemistry between Eric/Camile and I also think that it was deliberate. We were supposed to see that Luke is not the best choice for Andy and she is not the best choice for him.

As for Eric, he is hot (at least for me). In fact he is much more my type than Ben. Not that Ben is not hot, it's just Eric is more like my type. That's why I want to see him back in Rookie Blue and my screen.

Ben is more my type, but OMG is Eric dreamy! He's over 6' and he's flippin hilarious. Plus he seems to be happily married and adores his daughter to no end. How can anyone not love Eric?

I also agree that Eric and Camille had great chemistry between them! I'm also extremely interested in their relationship when they met, dated, lived together, and the end of their romance. You know RB is a good show when most of us want to know back-stories on EVERY character!! :haha:

I can see Luke actually being supportive of Sam and Andy given Eric's "you might be surprised by what Luke does." bit. Meaning that we don't expect how he'll behave. My 2 cents :)

And GAWD those three (minus rookiebluened) are annoying!
I hope Luke kind of tries to explain to Andy how Sam is feeling because Luke's been there - in an effort to get her to understand where Sam is coming from. I hope they don't just reverse the roles between Sam and Luke as compared to the roles that were portrayed in the final episode of season 1. That would just be too easy and kind of out of character for Sam.

You're right, and it would show that Luke is respectable :)

As for Eric's qualities... his VOICE ladies, his voice

Q&A with Eric, courtesy of the Dutch Rookie Blue Twitter fanpage @RookieBlueNed

1) An easy question to start with! Can you tell us something about your audition for #RookieBlue? Did you audition for the role of Det. Luke Callaghan right away? Is there any other role in #RookieBlue that you “ secretly” would have loved to play instead?... You can share everything we won’t tell it to anyone ;)

When I read the script I was instantly taken with it. I had worked with David Wellington and Illana Frank before and was very well aware Tassie Cameron’s writing. So when I read for the role of Luke Callaghan I was pretty excited. As for other roles in the show, I have a pretty good take on what I am appropriate for and so I never looked beyond “Homicide Luke”.

2) I’m sure that you always prepare yourself to the best of you abilities playing the role of Luke but can you tell the #RookieBlue fans something really funny that happened while your where shooting S1, S2 or S3 that you will always remember? I mean like a scene that had to be done over and over again or perhaps a practical joke by one of the other cast members? We love juicy details :)

One of my favorite things to do in Luke Callaghan’s office is throw crumpled up paper at people. Missy is a common target as she is in the office frequently but Charlotte and Camille Sullivan have also felt the wrath of post-it note, paper fights.

3) Tassie Cameron shared with us that Luke has one of the biggest cases of 15TH Division on hand this season and I quote; “you'll also definitely get to see a grittier side of Luke Callaghan this year -- he'll be on hand for one of the biggest and most exciting cases that 15 Division's tackled thus far”. That sounds like a huge challenge for Luke. Can you tell us a little more about what that means for Luke and how he’s coping with this, I would say, responsibility?!

I’m not going to get too deep into this story line but the whole of 15 division is involved. Luke copes how he always does, buy burying his head in his work. There is also significantly less plaid. SHOCKING I KNOW!

4) One of the fans is wondering when we are going to see Luke being happy again in his work and personal life?

Luke is always happy in his work not always happy with WHO he is working with. Time heals all wounds and that is true for Luke as well.

5) Is there anything you would love to say to the Dutch #RookieBlue fan page followers?

Thank you so much for watching and supporting our show, I hope you get many more seasons of Rookie Blue to enjoy!

CHEERS!

EJ

NO

PLAID

lol, I love how invested he is in Luke wearing plaid it's funny. I'm excited for his return to the show. Luke needs to get back into the dating game. I hope he's let go of wanting to be with Andy cause that ship has long since sailed. He can always vie for Gail's heart. Why not? Everyone else is!! Thanks for the interview.

EDIT: A Nanny's Secret is currently playing (a little over half way done now) on the W Network. So they'll be airing it again (3pm Atlantic time) in the afternoon.

Gail: Carpe diem, seize the day, there's no time like the present, a stitch in time saves nine.
Dov: What does that mean?
Gail: I don't know something about sewing.
---------------------------------------------------
Sam: I'd be surprised big chicken coming at me
