A 'Celery Stalk'

It was filmed in Hamilton May & June of last year. Info posted above.

[My boyfriend works across the street from there & he gets his daily coffee from the coffee shop they filmed a couple of scenes in. The owner of the coffee shop had to dig out his Christmas decorations & decorate his shop but filming was during summer & 20C+ outside so Eric & others were in sweaters and warm stuff to simulate winter & cold - they had to blast the AC to keep everyone cool.]

Another bit of big news for Eric and his wife--this time sealing a deal for the film.

The Hong Kong producer with EDKO Film had a breakout hit earlier this year with Xue Xiaolu’s Finding Mr. Right, the Seattle-set comedy shot mostly in Vancouver with a Chinese cast for $5 million, before earning $83 million at the box office in China.

On Thursday, Tang was at the Whistler Film Festival to option for development another Canadian romantic comedy tailored for the Chinese market, The Shanghai Hotel, written and produced by Eric Johnson and Adria Budd Johnson.

Bridget from ShowRatingsTV has a new interview with Eric up:

http://showratings.tv/articles/interview-rookie-blues-eric-johnson/?utm_content=buffer00ea9&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Excerpt:

We last saw your character, Det. Luke Callaghan, at the end of Season 4 of Rookie Blue. I know you’ve got The Knick and other projects going on, but is there any chance we see Luke back in Season 5, especially given the fact that it’ll be 22 episodes instead of the normal 13? How does Luke stay busy when he’s not working cases with the 15th?

Eric Johnson: That’s yet to be determined. There are many factors that go into this, but none of them is about whether we want it to work out. I enjoy a very good relationship with the show’s producers and writers, and if there is a story reason to bring in Callaghan, then I’m all for it. I’m also fine if they don’t use Luke. There are great characters in the show, both old and new, and only so many minutes of TV per episode. So bringing back ghosts of boyfriends past isn’t always the most compelling storytelling.

Luke keeps himself busy solving murders and falling to sleep crying over a picture of McNally every night ;)

There’s a lot of debate amongst Rookie Blue fans about Luke’s facial hair. Do you think Luke is better with or without the beard? Were you surprised at how much feedback your beard got?

EJ: Yes. No one was expecting such a reaction. I found it hilarious and I think Tassie (Cameron, Rookie Blue’s creator) found it perplexing. It certainly made an entrance. I love that she agreed to let the fans vote on the whole #proBeard #NoBeard twitter poll for Season 4. I couldn’t believe how many votes came in. I also can’t believe I spent so much time counting each one.

Just saw a little blurb on ETCanada about Eric. He will be performing in a four night play in Toronto called "Love Letters", opposite Kristin Kreuk from BATB. Break a leg, Eric!

I apologize if this is old news, but the guide says "new" on my tv so I thought I'd share. :)
