I actually watched "Call Me Mrs. Miracle" only because he was in the movie - it wasn't bad and his interview put a smile on my face.

As for the Work and the Glory series - it is really hard to find them online. I eventually found them as an illegal download and watched them that way because I could not find them anywhere. In my opinion, the best part is in the third movie when Eric is holding a baby - to me it was just such a great moment.

How old is Luke suppose to be? He must had at least 10 years of experience as police officer patrolling the streets right?.. I know TV shows make it easy but my uncle is Homicide Detective and he told it takes years of hard work before you make it at Homicide.. And Luke seems really young, maybe in his early 30s?

I've always thought early 30s too. I think they're going with a combo of Hollywood blurring of reality and setting him up as being a bit of a hot shot that got his position earlier than most. (though the latter is a little extra laughable because I don't think he's a great detective. Andy figured out the key way to break his cold Martinelli case in half a day when he hadn't figured it out in 3 YEARS  )

We can't really judge him though. ABC's site talked about a grotesque family trauma, which could have led him to join the force earlier than most (think of it, Andy was in her mid-twenties). Also, sometimes as a beat cop you just get lucky and land a case that makes you shine.

I always believed him to be a bot younger than Sam, but in his thirties indeed. Never put that much thought into it though. But seeing as the story line with Jo develops I reckon he does have a couple of years on Andy anyway.

I'm wondering if someone like Tassie actually has an answer to this and would be willing to share the answer. It is not like it is giving anything away by answering and I'm actually curious about the ages of everyone in the show, not just Luke.

I think TV shows often like to leave people's ages in the dark. That way they don't have to worry about the age thing. They are however old they want them to be. LOL

I found an interview he did for the mini-series Everest for tv-eh

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/tv-eh/2008/08/17/tv-eh

»McSwarek is endgame« | »McPeck Friendship Fan«
Gail: Carpe diem, seize the day, there's no time like the present, a stitch in time saves nine.
Dov: What does that mean?
Gail: I don't know something about sewing.
---------------------------------------------------
Sam: I'd be surprised big chicken coming at me

Fringe's Michael Eklund and Smallville's Eric Johnson have been tapped to portray escaped prisoners on Fox's new drama Alcatraz, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

J.J. Abrams' new sci-fi series centers on a cop (Sarah Jones) and a team of FBI agents who track down a group of missing Alcatraz prisoners and guards who have reappeared in the present day after disappearing 30 years earlier.

Eklund, whose credits also include Flashpoint and Caprica, will play Kit Nelson, a terrifying kidnapper who always returns his victims to their homes... after he's killed them. He'll appear in Episode 103, airing Monday, Jan. 23.

Johnson, who currently stars on Rookie Blue, will portray Cal Sweeney, a smooth talking bank robber whose interests lie in safety deposit boxes and the secrets they contain. He'll appear in Episode 104, slated to air Monday, Jan. 30.

So I guess that's probably the big project he tweeted about that he couldn't talk about yet?

Whats funny is that someone asked him which episode he is in and he said 5 and IMDB says five as well = guess I'm gonna start watching episode 4 and if he's not in it I'll just watch the next week.

Hey Western Canadians...in one hour there is a tv movie titled, Everest, staring Eric Johnson and Jason Priestley. It's a true story about the first Canadians to summit Mt. Everest. Just spotted it now. Channel 3 (CBC) if anyone is awake to watch? LOL
