The Pallaeon Mark II Star Destroyer Silent Sun stood as a testament of the Empire's might. Surrounded by smaller strike cruisers and scores of fighters on patrol. The volcanic world below them consistently churned out resources of metal and even the planet's lava for the use of the Empire. Because Mustafar was so resource rich, the Empire saw fit to make sure the planet was well defended from any incursion, whether Galactic Federation or from opportunistic Hutt cartels.

As such, it would be the responsibility for the Red Lady, Darth Rhavenous, to oversee the construction of a space station as well as the positioning of a defence fleet to protect the world from incursions. She stood on the bridge of the ship and looked down on the molten world as it's tectonic plates shifted almost fast enough for her to watch. This planet had a long history of constantly changing hands and standing with those the Mustafarians deemed strong. Mustafar was once the headquarters of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and after the deaths of that factions leaders, devoted their loyalty to Emperor Palpatine and his Galactic Empire. One hundred years later and Darth Krayt would claim the world again from the Fel Empire, only to now see the world come into the Sith fold once more.

The Mustafarians, for their part, did not seem to care who controlled the planet, so long as they could work and profit from the near endless resources Mustafar provided. As such Rhavenous would continue to allow their work, once she had a word in with the planetary leaders. Her hands clasped behind her back, she waited for their arrival.

The sound of boot steps told Rhavenous that one of her officers approached. She did not turn but listened as the boots clicked together in attention. She could feel the slight amount of air move as the officer gave a sharp salute.

"My Lord," Lieutenant Brisdon, Rhavenous' personal attaché, said with respect. "The Mustafarian delegation has arrived."

Rhavenous did not face her lesser. "Request that they join me on the bridge," she said, her voice slightly distorted by the breathing mask she used. "I would have them take in the view. Mustafarians are not known to leave their home world."
