MY LIFE AS A MOVIE SOUNDTRACK So, here's how it works: 1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc) 2. Put it on shuffle 3. Press play 4. For every question, type the song that's playing 5. When you go to a new question, press the next button 6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...just type it in Opening Credits: Waking up: "Dancing Dead" - Avenged Sevenfold (Awesome sauce, Zombie Movies rock. xp) First Day of School: "Nights of Love" - Papa Roach (Erm yeah, think this should be one category down. :P) Falling in Love: "Spine for You" - Dope (Sounds a little more like a break up song, but whatever. xp) Fight Song: "Insurrection" - Genuflect (Jackpot. Fact, this is the enrance theme for one of my efedding characters, BlakJak) Break Up: "My Hatred" - Trivium (Wench must have shot my dog or somethin'... Bizatch.) Prom: "Diadems" - Megadeth (I wish I could fully make sense of this song. I'll just write that off as one fucked up night.) Life: "Rise and Fall" - The Agonist (You know, I actually agree with this. Songs that deal with the incompetence and stupidity of humanity rock. :P) Mental Breakdown: "To Live and Die By Fire" - Still Remains (More like psychotic rage) Driving: "A Silent Prayer for the Haunted" - Hell Within (My movie is dark... Vey dark. *emo face*) Flashback: : "Theater of Slavation" - Edguy (Hah perfect sudden turn for the awesome moment. :P) Wedding: "Countdown" - Daysend (Actually is kind of a love song.. Works for me.) Birth of a Child: "Summer's End" - Foo Fighters (And there goes the dark emoness. And I s'pose if you work hard, you can make this work)Death Scene: "Run" - Disturbed (Ah man, not even in a blaze of glory. xp) Credits: "Tattered and Torn" - Slipknot (Wee, more metal!) Sequal Teaser: "The Divine Conspiracy" - Epica (Erm... fuckin' epic sequel is epic) |

PASS ONE: From my playlist of all the GEW theme songs. Opening Credits: "Bad Girl" - Pussycat Dolls (Chelsea Reed) - Seems the opening is a shopping montage. Waking up: "Laces Out" - Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker (Marsalas - yes, even though he only had one match) - it's a fun, cool, energetic song for waking up to so I guess that works! First Day of School: "Welcome To The Jungle" - Guns 'n' Roses (Faline Reynolds) - Sounds about right! Falling in Love: "Crush U" - Lizette & (Lynn Eberlee) - Ouch. For those who don't know the song, it does NOT mean 'crush' in the teenage romance sense. Fight Song: "King Of The World" - Porcelain & The Tramps (Shane Sanders) - Fuck yes. I'M THE FUCKING KING OF THE WORLD, GET ON YOUR KNEES. Break Up: "I Am Legend / Out For Blood" - Arch Enemy (Rhys Matterson) - Wow. Took that just a little hard huh? Prom: "Prelude 12/21" - AFI (Scott "The Reaper" Walker) - I can sort of weirdly see this. Life: "Trashed & Scattered" - Avenged Sevenfold (Damien Synn) - Ooooh, snap :(. Mental Breakdown: "Scream" - Avenged Sevenfold (Maria Giordano) - Well, that works. Driving: "Father Figure" - Army Of Anyone (Kameron Chase) - So I suppose that means I'm cursing out God while I'm driving? Flashback: "Obvious Heart" - Finger Eleven (Mark Chapman) - I should have realised that she loved me all along! XD Wedding: "Oops! ...I Did It Again" - Children of Bodom feat. Jonna Kosonen (Serena Raine) - Ell oh ell. Serial marrier. Birth of a Child: "Hips Don't Lie" - Shakira feat. Wyclef Jean (Gabriella) - Well, hips, childbirth. Sorta. Death Scene: "Riot" - Three Days Grace (Jeff Hardy. Oh man, how long is it since we allowed real world characters in GEW? XD) - I die starting a riot. I can live with that. Credits: "Hey Now (Mean Muggin)" - Xzibit feat. Keri Hilson (Russ Lehman) - Not sure what it has to do with the end credits, but it's a fucking awesome song. Sequal Teaser: "By Myself" - Linkin Park (Cammy Carnage) - Ew. If the quality of the song reflects the quality of the sequel, it's going to be terrible. |

No theme to this playlist, just all the shite I could find on my HD. Opening Credits: "Play God" - Deathstars (Setting up a good slasher movie vibe with some Scandinavian industrial metal. Righty-ho then.) Waking Up: "Supermonstars (The Anthem of the Phantoms)" - Lordi (Presumably, I'm woken up every morning by an abusive, obnoxious parent. My nemesis for the duration of the running time?) First Day of School: "Indestructible" - Disturbed (The teachers must LOVE me.) Falling In Love: "These Colours Don't Run" - Iron Maiden (Fantastic song, raises some odd questions - am I falling in love with a girl, or my country?) Fight Song: "Arc Reaktor" - Iron Man OST by Ramin Djawadi (This actually works - there's a nice tense stretch of minimal percussion at the beginning, which gives the impression of two warriors sizing each other up, before it bursts into heavy, violent guitars and swelling superheroic strings for those rise-to-the-challenge Rocky comeback moments.) Break Up: "Visions" - Pendulum (Presumably, the break-up occurs on the dancefloor of a nightclub, whilst I'm on a major LSD binge. And then I hallucinate having a wire-fu lightsaber fight with my new ex-girlfriend.) Prom: "Stand Up" - The Prodigy (By this point, I have developed a near pimp-like swagger as I strut into the school hall and make all the girls my bitches. Or so it sounds.) Life: "Face In The Sand" - Iron Maiden (A song lamenting the fact that all the differences we can ever make to the world will be fleeting and almost certainly won't be remembered after we're gone. Well, that's a cheery outlook.) Mental Breakdown: "Shoot To Thrill" - AC/DC (Urm...I suppose I could always go on a Natural Born Killers-esque homicidal road trip with this playing on my Cadillac's stereo...) Driving: "No More Lies" - Iron Maiden (Way too much Maiden on this list. Still, after a slow start, this does sorta gel with the scenario, assuming I'm driving to get away from something that's annoying me.) Flashback: "The New Doctor" - Doctor Who: The End of Time OST by Murray Gold (This'll have to be, like, a rapid-fire montage of a thousand flashbacks, interspersed with shots of exploding cows, or something. It'll probably make no sense to anyone.) Wedding: "Knights of Cydonia" - Muse (...space cowboy themed wedding? Why the hell not?) Birth of a Child: "Guns For Hire" - AC/DC (Nope, I give up. There is no possible way that could work.) Death Scene: "Pursuing My True Self" - Persona 4 OST by Shoji Meguro (C'mon, let go of the remote, don't you know, you're letting all the junk flood in? It's a happy, quirky way to die, possibly involving some final revelation that leaves me at peace.) Credits: "Driving With The Top Down" - Iron Man OST by Ramin Djawadi (Triumphant, badass...maybe a bit too noisy, but I'll take it.) Sequel Teaser: "Dance In The Dark" - Lady Gaga (...?) |

Opening Credits: "Closer" by Lacuna Coil - Great song, and good establishing theme for a movie, but wouldn't be my first choice despite Lacuna Coil being one of my favorite bands. Waking up: "Follow" by Drowning Pool - I actually think it would be a better fit for the sequal teaser, but it would definitely get my ass out of bed. First Day of School: "The First Noel (Instrumental)" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra - How sweet. And very short. Good fit despite the Christmas theme, and I could see it symbolizing how fast that first day passes by. Falling in Love: "Leeches" by In Flames - Seems like more of a breaking up song to me. Fight Song: "Spiral" by Godsmack - Too slow to be a fight song. Would serve as nice build-up to one though. Break Up: "If Possible" by Soilwork - I could totally see this one working. Very bitter and angry song. Prom: "Serpentine" by Disturbed - Would have been an even better break up song. I guess this is a prom destined for failure though. Life: "Remember" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Would make a great death song. But I could also see it working for life. Mental Breakdown: "Controlled Demolition" by Fear Factory - I'm not sure how to translate this one. Is it perfect? Maybe. Or maybe there are just some elements that I could relate to a mental breakdown. But a breakdown doesn't involve control... Driving: "Wasted Sacrifice" by Killswitch Engage - I can honestly think of some better KSE songs for this particular mood. Sounds more fitting of an alcohol-induced car accident. Flashback: "Stand Up" by The Prodigy - This song exudes partying and having a good time, so yeah I could see it fitting as a flashback - remembering the good old days. Wedding: "Meridian" by Sirenia - Ummmm... no. Not at all. More fitting of mental breakdown or the like. This would be a wedding from Hell. Though The Project Hate would have done a much better job of it. Birth of a Child: "Revolution Is My Name" by Pantera - My kinda' kid! ![]() Death Scene: "Descending" by Lamb of God - YEAH! Perfect! Credits: "Monsters of the Deep" by DevilDriver - Looks like we're really ending this movie on a heavy note. Can't complain there. Sequal Teaser: "Last of the Wilds" by Nightwish - A lively and lighthearted sequal that still rocks? Sure, that works. |

PASS TWO: From my entire library. Which is big, lol. Opening Credits: "The Garden of Emotions" - Ayreon - Wow, long credits. And probably an 80s fantasy film a la Labyrinth, Willow or the Dark Crystal. I can totally live with that. Waking up: "Taking Control" - Aphex Twin - Perfect! First Day of School: "Sub" - Last Year's Resolution - Sub being short, in this case, for submission. So, fun at school . Falling in Love: "(don't know the track name)" - Art Blakey - Falling in love at the jazz club. Oooh yeah. Fight Song: "Little Deuce Coupe" - The Beach Boys - GENIUS. Break Up: "Pop Song '89" - REM - Jangly indie funtimes, good for a breakup? Prom: "Ocean" - Tyr - So a Viking metal prom. That's kinda cool. Life: "So Jealous" - Tegan & Sara - :/ Mental Breakdown: "Valentine Melody" - Tim Buckley - Er... maybe? Driving: "Angel of Music" - Andrew Lloyd Webber - I'm driving a Phantom! Sweet. Guess I'm rich then. Flashback: "Nunca Perdete" - Apu - Flashback to that gap year I spent in Peru. Wedding: "Teenage Kicks" - The Undertones - Maybe for a drunken Vegas wedding? Birth of a Child: "Endless Summer" - Zwan - D'aaawww. Death Scene: "Nothing Else Matters" - Metallica - Apt, I guess. Credits: "Someday Never Comes" - Creedence Clearwater Revival - I can TOTALLY see this as end credits music :D. Sequal Teaser: "Kashmir" - Led Zeppelin - I dunno what it says about the sequel but fuck it, it's a kickass song. Edited by stygimoloch, Feb 8 2011, 11:07 AM.

Waking up: "Sound of the Underground" by Girls Aloud. I'd love to wake up this. First Day of School: "Do Or Die" by Grace Jones. Weirdly appropriate as I hated school and dropped out. Falling in Love: "Love Is Ouch" by 2NE1. Speaks for itself! Fight Song: "On Top" by The Killers. I'd like to come out on top of this fight but when I'm fighting it's like a cross between a doggy paddle and Riverdance. Break Up: "Last Time Lover" by the Spice Girls. Ha, my list is turning out to be so perfect. iTunes loves me! I guess this is my 'break up and go find someone hotter' song. Prom: "La La La" by Alesha Dixon. Funny about how it's about a Briton in America in parts, and 'prom' is a very American thing. The concept of prom to me is all la la la la. Life: "After Midnight" by Danny Elfman. Well, I am nocturnal? Mental Breakdown: "No Can Do" by Sugababes. Well, I wouldn't be able to function and keep having to say no, so a little fitting. Driving: "Hit n' Run" by Monrose. Haha, my list LOVES me. I'd avoid hitting anyone, I'm a safe, good driver. Flashback: : "Interlude" by Muse. It'd fit, seeing as it's only 38 songs long, which is the perfect length for flashbacks. Wedding: "Foundations" by Kate Nash. I don't foresee this marriage lasting very long, I must be BITTER from all those lemons. We'll be divorced in two weeks. Birth of a Child: "Live and Let Die" by Guns n' Roses. Hmm. I guess it could provide a nice epic soundtrack to the journey of birth? Especially if I was pregnant with James Bond's child. Death Scene: "Girls" by the Prodigy. Was I killed by girl groupies or for living a life of decadent excess? Credits: "Remedy" by Little Boots. If my life was some warped sci-fi movie, then maybe it'd fit. But I do like this type of music so maybe it'd suit in summing up my overall library. Sequal Teaser: "Your Song" from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. My big, glamourous, camp, diamond-covered, over the top return to the screen. I'm quite pleased with mine. Edited by Tequila, Feb 8 2011, 02:01 PM.

Here's my second go at it. Hopefully this one will be better than the first. Opening Credits: "To Myself I Turned" by Lacuna Coil - Another LC opening? Interesting. This is a good start though. Waking up: "I'm Ugly and I Don't Know Why" by Betty Blowtorch - Not a very nice thought to wake up to. Maybe a better fit for mental breakdown. First Day of School: "Crucified" by Disturbed - Yep, you're fucked now kid. Falling in Love: "Diesel Power" by The Prodigy - Hmmm, love this song, but I'm not sure where it would fit. Seems more arrogant and egomaniacal than compassionate. Fight Song: "Dream Child" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra - The farthest thing you could find from a fight song. Too quiet and peaceful. Break Up: "The Rabbit Hole/The Dream" by In This Moment - A very painless break-up by the sounds of it. Probably been dealing with the bitch's bullshit so much, that breaking up is a welcome reprieve. Prom: "Run With the Wolves" by The Prodigy - That's a pretty high energy prom. Might fit for some dude who doesn't have a date and looking to ruin another random guy's night by stealing his girl. Life: "Once Sealed in Blood" by Amon Amarth - A Viking war metal translation of life? Pretty violent and graphic. Speaks to a man's sense of honor, duty, and mortality. I like it. Mental Breakdown: "Within Me" by Lacuna Coil - More of a recovery song than a mental breakdown song. Would be more about finding the strength to pull your ass out of the hole. Still, I think it works in a certain sense. Driving: "At the Entrance of Hell's Unholy Fire" by The Project Hate - Good driving music if you're into road rage. I could definitely stand to listen to this while driving though... if I could drive and had my own car. Flashback: "Across the Rainbow Bridge" by Amon Amarth - Rainbow bridge, huh? Sure, I guess that could work for a fantastical ass-kicking flashback. Wedding: "Take Me to the Hospital" by The Prodigy - Uh oh, sounds like somebody was stood up, and beat the every living shit out of the guilty party. Serves 'em right. Birth of a Child: "So Help Me God" by Fireflight - Interesting choice. Could work for someone praying to God that they be a good parent. Death Scene: "Disposition" by Tool - Nice peaceful song that I could see working as a dead man accepts his fate, no longer fighting the inevitable. Credits: "The Three Kings and I (What Really Happened)" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Nice upbeat tune to end this movie, despite the religious theme. Sequal Teaser: "This Christmas Day" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Damnit, more TSO? WTF?! I probably won't watch this sequal despite a really good song. Christmas movies just don't sell that well for me. Started rough and ended rough, but the middle parts were really good I think. |

Wedding: The Prodigy - Run With the Wolves (In an effort to avoid 'bad end', this means she's down for whatever. Running with the wolves, as it were. Yeah, taht's it.) Birth of a Child: Yu Miyake - WANDA WANDA (It's the birth of a katamari? At least it's a happy song. I think. Maybe the kid's named Wanda.) Credits: Sadat X & Rhymefest - Roll That (as in, the credits.) Sequel Teaser: Sepultura - Ratamahatta (revenge against the nose.... who is apparently part of an angry latin american tribe.) |

Hmmm, you make a point. Could also be like in Boondock Saints, where you get classical music in the gun fights. |
