The main floor of the castle home to it's chief gathering places. From the great hall to the main courtyard, every social local in the school is on the ground floor, the figurative foundations of the castle. OH! And don't forget to jump that trick stair on the marble staircase.

From History of Magic to Muggle Studies to Herbology, the first floor delivers a serious dose of education. Don't forget the grand staircase with it's many moving flights or the stone bridge spanning across to the transfiguration courtyard and the viaduct entrance! You'll also find one of the many entrances to the vast memorial gardens on this floor.

The center of defensive learning for the school, the second floor contains the primary access to the Headmaster's office and, by extension, tower. Careful you don't slip in the corridors. Moaning Myrtle floods them regularly... man can that ghost throw a tantrum!

Charms. Transfiguration. Mending broken bones. Shiny metal things. THE THIRD FLOOR HAS IT ALL! Mind you don't step in the carefully maintained remnants of the Weasley twins' portable swamp. It survived half the castle being blown apart, Professor Flitwick won't thank you for destroying it now.

From the office of the head of Hufflepuff house to the library to the alchemical studies class, the fourth floor is the epitome of too much information. Just don't wander into the restricted section, eh? Those books are NOT kind to the eardrums.

The fifth floor isn't just the domain of those clever Eagles, it's also a dwelling ground of owls. Careful not to slip on the bird shit! OH! And a word for male prefects: beware of the prefects bathroom. It's a Moaning Myrtle danger zone.

The home of two of the school's most bizarre subjects. Also, the location of one of the primary hang out spots of the student body. Coincidence? I don't know. And then there's that other thing about theory of whatever with the stuff in the place with the thing... it's complicated.

Lions, tigers, and bears, ohhhh-kay, just lions. ALSO, pretend to see the future in crystal balls, tea leaves, and number charts. OH! And don't forget that room that can provide anything you want... except hookers. What's the deal with that?

The deepest depths of the castle, home to the crookedest and, in many cases, most boring students in the school. You can also brew up a concoction or two and pay a visit to the head of Slytherin house. FUN! Also, for anyone with an eating disorder, don't forget: tickle the pear.

Hmm... a forest filled with angry centaurs, giant, bloodthirsty spiders, werewolves, and flying horses you can only see if you watched someone snuff it? Why, exactly, was building a school for children next to this a good idea? Oh-ho-ho! That's right, I forgot! The lake full of creepy critters and that tree that likes to beat the crap out of people will protect them. Of course, you can always take part in a nice game of Quidditch. Getting knocked of a broom a hundred feet in the air by a flying sledge-hammer can't possibly be dangerous!

It's the only all-wizarding village in the United Kingdom and, guess what? IT SHOWS! From the candy-store filled with sweets only magic could produce, to the joke-shop that likes to sell tea-cups that bite your nose - among other things - to that pub that somehow seems to think the severed head of a boar is a good advertising campaign, this village is as strange as they come...
