Welcome to The United Literates, or TUL! We hope you enjoy your visit!

We're an all-genre, all-literate forum on the Zathyrus Networks, and we'd love to have you join! Our roleplays range from the fun to the mature, and are all member-run and created; they extend from Fictional roleplays set in the past and future, to Real-Life and Fan-Fiction categories. In addition to roleplays, TUL also has a vibrant community of artists and writers, featured in The Cafe section of the website, who also love to do things out of character through our Lounge area.

Right now, you're viewing the forum as a guest, which means you only have limited access to the board and its features. To join TUL and start roleplaying with us, all you have to do is click the link below, register, and pass through our brief application process. So what are you waiting for?

Role Play Sample: “Oh, we shouldn't ...”

Cole, predictably, was not listen. Cole rarely listened and, if he did, it was never for very long. Cole did not believe in listening because, so far, it had got him no where important. Listening only ever seemed to bring him boredom and dreariness, so he had quite given up on it. He much preferred going through life not listening to what he was being told, and only realising he was doing something incredibly stupid when he ended up injuring himself or others around him.

It was certainly one way of doing things.

Right now, he was definitely not listening. Mostly because there were three girls and two boys behind, acting as immature teens were prone to do and going places that they knew they shouldn't. Such as the rather more seedy parts of town, 'just to have a look'. Being nobles of the country, it probably wasn't the best idea that had ever been devised, since they stuck out rather like a pink elephant did and their arrival certainly wasn't favoured. But what could happen to them? They had their demons, they would protect them if they ever got into trouble.

Well, some of them would anyway. Cole threw a slight glare at the rather large golden cat trudging along beside him, who only looked up at him nonchalantly, with a look that had superiority written all over it. Cole only scoffed and continued walking, even as his friends – or at least, that's what they called themselves – faltered and then stopped.

“No, really Cole, we should go back!”

The streets were looking even more uninviting, if that was possible, and the glares they were receiving were getting rather more ferocious. Cole, however, as has already been established, did not listen and continued walking. Even as his friends voices disappeared into the distance he continued walking, looking around him with interest.

“So this is where the poor people live.”

The cat beside him gave a large yawn, even as Cole decided that slipping off down a side alley was a good idea. Oh, she followed without much trouble, but she looked decidedly bored with the whole event.

((That's all you're getting 'cause I'm lazy.))

The Genres: … Everything? Honestly, can't think of something I don't.

Could you move my roleplay with Lin across to here? Mister Princess. Thanks in advance =3
