| Welcome to The United Literates, or TUL! We hope you enjoy your visit! We're an all-genre, all-literate forum on the Zathyrus Networks, and we'd love to have you join! Our roleplays range from the fun to the mature, and are all member-run and created; they extend from Fictional roleplays set in the past and future, to Real-Life and Fan-Fiction categories. In addition to roleplays, TUL also has a vibrant community of artists and writers, featured in The Cafe section of the website, who also love to do things out of character through our Lounge area. OOC Information Name: Justice Gender: Female Who were you referred by? What site were you referred from?: Honey, I'm as old as the dinosaurs. Age: 18 Contact: MSN: heaveninarage@hotmail.com AIM(Rare): Miss Alicelove Role Playing Experience: Ummm. Seven years? xD IC Information Role Play Sample: [A little over 1k, sorry. Its the shortest I could find.] The ceiling was the same exact color it had been the hour before, and even the hour before that. Actually staring at it did nothing but make him cringe at the site of the ugly grey. It was so dark, he’d never noticed that before. Now looking up at it he wished it was something more interesting, maybe even a splash of salmon. He hated pink but it would be a step up from looking at something so normal for so long. All he could do was lay there and wish. He could have gotten his wand for some entertainment but he had to save his energy. Everyone else was asleep, snoring softly in their natural slumbers. However he couldn’t be nearly as lucky this night. He had chosen this night to rest, this night to keep his wand in his bedside table and allow his task a rest. He couldn’t be at it every night or he might drive himself insane. He pushed the covers off himself for at least the third time that hour, moving his head to the side as to look at the window beside him. The light had begun to filter into the room and slowly he could feel the sunrise begin. It was about time for him to be waking up, after all the day had just begun. His day had actually begun the night before when he had started work on the vanishing cabinets for the first time. He could barely even pass his first test, much less think about putting a living creature to the test. He had to try the apple first and get the assuring bite back. So far he hadn’t gotten the chance to make it vanish even once. He could think of nothing else, try nothing else. He couldn’t even sleep these days. He rolled over once again, enjoying the sunrise on the horizon. With this sunrise it meant that he could finally focus on the things that were more important to him, like getting to work on the cabinet again. He would have to wait until nightfall, of course, but he was at least closer to that. He’d go to breakfast, his classes, grab a nap sometime in the day, and finally have time to slip away and spend the whole night working. He then could go to work for his higher purpose, go where he felt like he was doing something useful. He was no longer a child to be controlled and told what to do and when to do it. He would finally be free in this responsibility, finally do something that mattered. He was fed up with this school and all its petty dramas. He continued in such thought as he moved to the edge of his bed. He threw on the normal dark green and black attire as slowly as possible, in no hurry to head down to breakfast. After all down there were the people he hated, those he despised. There was that fucker Harry Potter, acting like one grade-A prat, and his little posse of blood traitors and mud bloods. Besides that were the worthless scum of the universe all sitting at the four great tables, leering at him. They were always looking at him, always wishing he would disappear off the face of the earth. He didn’t care you hated him this year, he was above the petty thoughts of such teenagers. He was an adult, he was… Why was he crying? His shoulders had begun to shake and his knees were slowly gaining little puddles on top of them. Each time another one dropped he looked down at it, glared at it. He tried and tried to will them away but nothing changed. He just kept crying, just continued balling into his open palms. He wouldn’t allow this kind of behavior. After all, he was an adult. He had to act like one, and that meant not crying like a baby. However he wanted so badly to break down and cry. Already he was beginning to feel the pressure of what he had to do. Already he was figuring out what might happen if he failed, or worse, if Dumbledore found out. He didn’t want to think of what might happen if the powerful wizard found out this plan. He doubted that he would just kill him, no there would be more to it. Dumbledore was not the usual wizard, Voldemort had stressed that point. He brushed his eyes with the back of his hand just before pulling on a set of robes. He hated crying. Without another word he pulled himself up, giving a snort and straightening his robes he headed out the door. Everyone was still asleep in his room, they would come blundering down half asleep later, but he was up at a proper time. Then again they all slept and he rarely had the time to do that these days. He would much rather work on his mission than sleep. At least when he was working he felt one thing he had not felt in a while. He finally felt alive. This school, these people, none of this made him feel the way that sitting for hours trying to move that apple did. There was more life within that cabinet than his peers, which was once again made clear to him as he entered the Great Hall. The solider found himself immersed in the problems of teenagers. He heard them speaking of Quidditch, relationships, and the next trip to Hogsmeade. All the while, he didn’t care. He just didn’t care. There was one luxury he would allow himself, though. Just one look, just one small look. He allowed his gaze to drift over to the Ravenclaw table, only for a moment. Just one quick glance at Jung and he was satisfied. She was something he would allow himself to indulge in. She was the one thing that seemed to hold his interest anymore. However she was way over there and it would seem quite out of his character to go over and sit buddy-buddy with the Quidditch captain. He had better things to do. Things like sitting over his eggs, squished between the usual pillars of friends, and feeling anxious. The Genres: Anything terribly creative. Examples |
