| Welcome to The United Literates, or TUL! We hope you enjoy your visit! We're an all-genre, all-literate forum on the Zathyrus Networks, and we'd love to have you join! Our roleplays range from the fun to the mature, and are all member-run and created; they extend from Fictional roleplays set in the past and future, to Real-Life and Fan-Fiction categories. In addition to roleplays, TUL also has a vibrant community of artists and writers, featured in The Cafe section of the website, who also love to do things out of character through our Lounge area. Right now, you're viewing the forum as a guest, which means you only have limited access to the board and its features. To join TUL and start roleplaying with us, all you have to do is click the link below, register, and pass through our brief application process. So what are you waiting for? Welcome to TUL! Register today! Once you've created an account, please head to The Application Center and follow the instructions to become a full member. OOC Information Name: Vincent "Visionary" Marx Gender: Male Who were you referred by? What site were you referred from?: Kyh told me about TUL and said this place would be fitting enough for a Role Player/pencil artist like me. Age: 16 Contact: Skype: Vincent Marx Role Playing Experience: 3 years of forum Role Plays and 2 years of chat Role Plays. IC Information Role Play Sample: The young man lazily opens his eyes when the sunrise shines out of the horizon and illuminates his room through the window. He sits up on his messed bed and rubs his eyes, feeling that they're starting to itch thanks to the clarity. Unwilling to get up he places his pillow over his face to block the sunlight from his sight, but it doesn't takes long for his mother to slam the door open and call him for breakfast with that dry tone of hers: "Vincent, come eat right now!" The surprised guy briefly get up, scared by the sudden noise, but his laziness comes back within a second. His reply slips weakly from his dry lips. "Alright, just gimme a minute to dress up." Speaking which, Vincent reminds himself he slept the way he to the world last night. It's in times like those he's glad his mother never comes to wake him up and spends more than a brief moment by the door. Vin, as his friends call him, never had a good sense of organization, but his things were always easy to find, so he doesn't takes long to find some clothes over a nearby chair. Since his sister is still asleep, he's the first to bathe. "Vincent, we're late today! Hurry up!" his mother shouts from the other side of the bathroom's door, but that never really made him speed up. "Patience is a virtue, mum." as he always replies. Either way, a quick breakfast consisting on mashed bananas and a cold glass of water is already enough to satisfy the high school student as he waits for his 22-old sister to leave the bathroom. A couple minutes pass and the bathroom is free once again, so Vin hurries to brush his teeth as his mother keeps hurrying him up. Done, he runs back to his room, picks his backpack up, which was on the TV today, and heads downstairs. He gets into his mother's car and she starts it up, quickly leaving his house. "Now I sit back, relax and listen some news." he says with a lazy tone as he rests his back on his seat and turns the car's radio on. Brazil's weather will be cloudy for the rest of the week, but some sunny day will follow right after. "Good, I had plans to watch the blue sky from my room's window." Vincent comments under his breath, already predicting what hi mom would say if she listened. Knowing a foreign language, such as English, is utterly recommended for people planning to work in some advanced areas. "Good thing I didn't get stuck with my primary language and became fluent in such language rather soon." the Brazilian student comments to himself again, preferring to don't hear a reply from his mother about that subject. Arriving in the high school, he gets out of the car and waves to his mother, which wished him good luck with the weekly test. To that he says nothing, but once facing the test a few words comes out of his lips. "I was looking forward on it..." he mutters with dismay. The Genres: I like Fantasy Role Play the most, and Animal Role Play as well. I dislike most Human and Fandom Role Plays, but depending on the plot I may open an exception to some of these genres. |
