Name: You may call me Amor if you like. But I am otherwise known as Kita. Gender: Terminator!! ![]() Who were you referred by? What site were you referred from?: Previous member of the old TUL site, and Tris and Phina referred me. Age: 20 Contact: nakita.kiger@gmail.com Role Playing Experience: I’ve been an avid roleplayer for the last 8 years. Though there has been a bit of a lull in my activity since I started college and found that I had almost NO free time, I still try to get in a post or a good roleplay whenever I get the chance. I was a member of several Wolf Roleplaying sites for many years until sadly they shut down do to inactivity or as a result of the admin’s departure. I have also been a member of the old TUL for the past few years and have loved every minute of it. IC Information Role Play Sample: Flames whipped about her face, wrapping her head in a halo of searing heat and light. Isabelle whimpered, eyes wide, as the fire danced around her; threads of flame leaping into the air and arching over her, stopping just shy of the ceiling. The flames glittered in her frightened green eyes as she sought Hedgehog through the raging inferno. Fear tore at her throat and caused her heart to flutter with a rapidity she didn’t know it capable of when she could no longer find the other girl. Looking around wildly, while still fighting to regain control, as hopeless as it seemed, her gaze finally landed on Hedge. But what the other girl was doing only added to her terror. She watched in horror as Hedgehog fought the flames on the couch with her bare hands, imagining the blisters that would be there if they managed to get out of this mess. Wanting nothing more than to protect this girl who had tried to protect her, she forced herself to look away from where Hedge stood before the couch, battling the flames, and made an attempt to center herself and focus. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath, feeling the calm pervade throughout her body and the heat from the flames recede. But when she opened her eyes, she was mortified to find that the flames had only moved away from her skin by an inch or so, having in no way lost any of their vigor. Groaning in defeat, she tossed her head back, staring at the ceiling through the moisture that had begun to pool in her eyes. Just as she was beginning to think there was no hope for the situation, she felt an abrupt tug on her hands and her head snapped forward, her gaze locking on the hands that now gripped her own so tightly. She watched in awe as the flames began to dissipate at Hedgehog’s touch. Acutely aware of that firm touch, she lifted her eyes to search Hedgehog’s face. Whether she was aware of it or not, Isabelle did not know, but her face held more emotion in those brief seconds than it had held since that moment in the LGBT hangout earlier in the day. Pain being foremost among the emotions to flash across her straining face. Glancing down at their locked hands, and the fire that swirled around rather than over them, Isabelle realized that the pain she was witnessing on the other girl’s face had nothing to do with the heat of the fire. Slowly, the flames pulled back, receding into her palms or dissipating in a puff of smoke in mid air. With a faint glimmer, the last licks of flame flickered out as Hedgehog pulled her hands away. Her heart sank at the loss of contact, but she knew it was for the best. Lifting her gaze to Hedgehog’s face once more, she swallowed nervously, trying to discern what the expression was on Hedge’s face. Disgust. Anger. The clenched fists were evidence of that. Isabelle looked away, ashamed of herself. Not only for having lost control, but for destroying the few things that her companion did have. Staring mutely at the ground, she fought the tears that began to well in her eyes. Hedgehog’s anger practically emanated from her skin, though she was doing a very good job of controlling it. Isabelle could feel the tension between them like a physical weight, a barrier that only widened the gulf that had seemed to exist between her and Hedge since the moment they met. Lifting a hand to her face, she could feel the moisture leaking from the corners of her eyes, and scrubbed at it irritably. Swallowing the lump that had formed in her throat, she forced herself to look at Hedgehog. “I…I am so sorry. I…you never should have brought me here. I ruined everything. I’m sorry…” she managed to choke out around the sobs that threatened to break loose. Hurrying over to the board covering the broken window, she pulled it down carefully, and set it against the wall. Clambering through the hole, she pulled herself upright on the other side, stumbling slightly before regaining her balance. Glancing around to make sure no one was watching, she turned and ran down the alleyway, dodging trash, broken bottles and used needles as she went. She wasn’t even aware of the tears that streamed down her cheeks, or the sobs that wracked her body. All she wanted to do was get as far from that scene of destruction as possible. Though the damage had been minimal, she was the one responsible for it. Isa could feel her heart pounding inside her throat, the wind tearing at her lungs, but she didn’t care. Fences reared up before her and she leapt them without a thought; the path wound back and forth, finally depositing her at the red light she had nearly been run over at earlier. Heaving, she clutched her chest with her right hand while frantically wiping at her face with her left. When the cross walk light finally flashed white, she hurled herself across the street as fast as she could given her lack of running shoes. Finally, she could see the rainbow flag signifying the LGBTQ hangout waving in the distance. Upon reaching the parking lot, she hurried to where her Mercedes sat parked, the sun glinting off the silver paint. She suddenly hated the thing, but needed to get home nevertheless. Looking up at where the flag swung lazily with the wind, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, sobs still choking her every few seconds. Pulling out her keys, she unlocked the door and slid into the soft embrace of the black leather seat. Gripping the wheel so hard that her knuckles turned white, she closed her eyes yet again and dropped her head; the events of the past couple hours whipping through her mind. Putting the key in the ignition, she revved the engine and peeled out of the parking lot. When she reached her house, she pulled the car into the garage and cut the engine; listening to the metallic clicks and clinking as the engine quieted and cooled. Sitting in the darkness of the garage for a moment, she attempted to regain her composure somewhat. Stepping from the car, she grabbed her purse and walked through the door into the house. Her mother was in the kitchen, slicing vegetables for dinner on the island counter while watching the flat screen T.V. that was nestled in the corner of the opposite counter. Sneaking past the kitchen, she hurried up the stairs to her bedroom. Dropping her things on the floor, she walked over to the body mirror and stared at her reflection. The girl standing before her was not the one who had left for school that morning. This girl was dirty, her hair a windswept and grimy mess. The tears that had finally stopped left tracks in the soot on her face. Turning to the closet, she kicked off the now hated pumps and grabbed her white towel, heading for the bath tub. Turning the knob, she watched the steaming water fill the tub and wondered vaguely when the last time Hedgehog had been granted that luxury was. Hating herself even more, she stripped off her clothes and slipped into the warm water, feeling its soft caress. Closing her eyes, she lay her head back against the wall and took a deep breath. How could she possibly enjoy herself knowing what she had left behind in that dusty, abandoned building. She could feel the tears spilling over again; the familiar burn in her throat. Lacing her fingers in her damp hair, she pulled, the myriad of emotions ripping through her escaping as a sob. Laying her head down atop her knees, she cried. (I don’t know if this is less than 1000 words...but it was just one of my posts in my current roleplay with Phina (Shadowed in Darkness). The Genres: Human, Fantasy, and Animal. At least for the most part. |

So...I just realized I used "do" instead of "due" in the OOC section. This post is meant to rectify that error. |
