OOC Information Name: Phalen Gender: Male Who were you referred by? What site were you referred from?: Oh damn.. I dont even remember for sure how I found this place. I think it was way back when I was just an underformed babbeh fetus on neopets. I think someone posted a link in one of the RP site advertisement threads, and that's how it went down. Age: 17 Contact: Well, I dont use it very often but imazeldafanatic@gmail.com Role Playing Experience: I've been RPing for... six or seven years? I started way back on neopets, switched to one on one over email, then worked my way onto the old TUL and other forums. IC Information Role Play Sample: Claire couldn't help but give her partner a wide smile. "Looks like I can trust you after all. Besides, it would be better to die at your hands than to die from the land." It was clear that Claire trusted Caderyn through her tone. Despite it all, Caderyn seemed more or less trustworthy. In fact, mercenaries didn't exactly have the best reputation of being good people. Caderyn had more right to worry about trust than she did, because she was the one more likely to kill him for whatever reason. When Caderyn took off after the bird, Claire eagerly followed behind him. Even at the fast pace they were attempting, they weren't making the quickest progress across the cruel ground. Soon enough the ground had stopped being a problem. The wrecked pine trees gave way to a strange type of thin wooden plant that she hadn't ever seen before. Even though the plants were strange, the ground was smooth and pleasant to walk around. Caderyn even managed to stumble over and find a weapon that he had lost earlier. Claire clapped and grinned at the man. "Oh! What luck you have, finding that. Though it doesn't seem as though you really need another weapon." Claire did know that even if he already had more than enough weapons on him, one more dagger couldn't hurt. After all, one of the key sayings she had learned as a mercenary was "There is no kill better than overkill!" With Caderyn leading her with much more vigor, they moved at a great pace. It had barely taken any time at all before they found another piece of Caderyn's equipment. The way it happened was almost enough to brighten her day a bit. When the bowstring seemingly 'attacked' Caderyn, the man had let loose a scream that would have turned the children from Claire's hometown green with envy. Though she supposed the hearty laughter that escaped from her was just as gender inappropriate as the scream had been for the man. Even though the circumstances were grim, being around someone who shared such an intimate common ground put her at ease. When Claire smelt the comfortably familiar smell of burnt flesh mixed with the fairly unfamiliar smell of feathers, she could make a good guess that this had been the location that they had been looking for. Judging by Caderyn's quick travel to a jutting pole, it seemed as though her guess hadn't been off mark at all. The most important thing was whether or not they would find any important supplies, but it wouldn't be quite as fortunate to find supplies if Caderyn had a mental breakdown after seeing whatever was to come. The camp was a horrible scene, body parts of multiple species laid burnt or dissembled across the entire thing. The woman seemed a bit less disturbed by the disgusting carnage than the man. When you cut people into ribbons for a living, you became insensitive to these things. Claire even found looting old campsites to be somewhat of a fun activity after having done it enough. Claire immediately went to work at looting. Her primary goal was to find another decent weapon, because it had occurred to her that her magical sword could malfunction in horrible ways here. It almost frightened her to think of the things that could happen if she tried to use it. It wasn't very difficult to find a sword in this carnage, unfortunately some of them were junk to begin with, and some had taken more damage than she could repair by herself. Despite the conditions, she managed to find a short sword and a sheath that seemed perfect. Claire strapped her new weapon to her belt and began scavenging for any food that was still edible. Soon she found herself out of view of Caderyn, so she raised her voice and called out to him. "You found anything yet?" The Genres: Mostly Sci-fi or generic fantasy. I'm a sucker for magic or weird powers. I'm ridiculously cautious when it comes to fandom rps, I always feel like I'm disgracing the entire universe and doing everything all wrong whenever I do them. I like freaky characters who do freaky things. If given the chance I tend to make characters that are all around horrible people. Some of my worse characters range from pedophile rapists to sadist serial killers. I can still play regular-ish characters though. I'm not big on real life historical settings for the same reason that I don't do fandoms much, I feel like I don't know enough about the time period to accurately portray it. |
