| Welcome to The United Literates, or TUL! We hope you enjoy your visit! We're an all-genre, all-literate forum on the Zathyrus Networks, and we'd love to have you join! Our roleplays range from the fun to the mature, and are all member-run and created; they extend from Fictional roleplays set in the past and future, to Real-Life and Fan-Fiction categories. In addition to roleplays, TUL also has a vibrant community of artists and writers, featured in The Cafe section of the website, who also love to do things out of character through our Lounge area. Right now, you're viewing the forum as a guest, which means you only have limited access to the board and its features. To join TUL and start roleplaying with us, all you have to do is click the link below, register, and pass through our brief application process. So what are you waiting for? Welcome to TUL! He knew it was coming, he could feel it, it could hear it, but there was no way to tell the exact moment. It was a terrible feeling. But for the time being it was not something he could focus on; there was a much more important task at hand that he needed to complete. A compass in hand, he followed the needle, threaded with a lock of gold hair, in whatever direction it pointed him. It was the only lead he had, the only way he would be able to find what he was looking for. He sat quietly in the bushes, curling his dirty toes as he stared at the needle spinning wildly around. What was going on? What did it mean? He had never seen it go so mad before, and he had seen quite a lot of mad things in his lifetime. Could she be nearby? A blast of thunder shook him to his core. He tucked his feet beneath him and crouched, carefully spreading the branches of the thorn bush apart so he could see. The thorns seemed to cause no pain, digging into his palms and staying as he tore them from the branches. He lightly rubbed his chin, leaving a trail of blood down his neck. Anxiety racked his body; but he knew he could not wait any longer. Rain began to fall. The compass was still acting wildly. He pressed through the bushes and onto the main path, seeing only a single person quite a ways down the road. He felt the rain water dripping down the bone rabbit ears, down into the rabbit skull he wore over his head, where it settled in the crevices of his nose and lips. His tattered tailcoat was starting to soak, mud forming between his toes. There was no sign of Alice. There was a person there but even from where he was standing he could see they were a man; there was no dress, no long blond locks of hair. He looked at the compass, spinning insanely. "Must be broke," he said softly, frowning. What was he to do now? They were waiting for him to bring Alice and here he was at a dead end. The Rabbit tilted his head back slightly, looking up at the sky unblinkingly, droplets of water falling onto his open eyes and rolling down his cheeks. The Genres: homosex, fantasy, modern, idfk |
