Welcome to Charleston Preparatory Academy which houses students from grades ninth through twelth. This year will be a fresh start at Charleston Prep Academy. The former headmaster, Mr. Hendrix, passed away over the summer and the board elected a new headmistress Ms. Stone, the first female to be in charge of the school in twenty-five years. Recently the girls and boys prep schools in the area formed to create one school: Charleston Prep Academy. The Academy is located in a small town on the outskirts of Charleston, South Carolina.

The town contains a variety of unique people from the highschool students and the parents to the college students and school staff. Charleston's students are known for their unique, intricate relationships and close knit cliques. But CPA is also known for its size. Pretty much every student or town resident knows everyone else and everyone seems to know everything about everyone else.

Everyone has thier own place and thier own unique individuality but yet they seem to 'click' with others. CPA is a highly respected institution of learning and is a private school. Normally the students are either rich or on a scholarship. Families that already lived in the area recieved discounts; students moving by themselves (private residences provided) had to either come up with the money or depend on a scholarship. This is not a deliquent highschool nor a party one. While the students need to excel in thier classes they also form some life changing relationships along the way.
