"Not another focking assassin..." Malcolm groaned. "Bloody office is going to be full of murderous women ready to chop the ballsacks off us men." he threw his hands up. "Am I the only one who actually isn't a highly trained killer? Focking hands up if you're a trained killer?!" Not to his surprise more than a few hands went up. Including Clara's. "You?!" Malcolm looked at her in shock. "Well, I did go through Starfleet basic training, I quit but I went through it. Just wasn't for me. That and being short I couldn't always reach control panels the walls." Clara said with a wink and looked at Joanna. "So an assassin wants to push papers? That I believe is more Director Lei's department. Big huge mountain." she mimed a mountain shape. "Why do you want to work here?" |

"Why not?" she asked. "I thought maybe you could use the help. We need women who can take care of ourselves, right?" |

"I think you really do need to talk to Director Lei... she's the one who embeds people like you among people like us." Clara said with a smirk. "Or are you really looking for a job as one of the President's deadly women? Half of his secret service are women, at least so we've been told, most of them spend their time here in cloak suits. Even in the bathroom which let me tell you... is freaky." |

"I think being a deadly woman would fit quite nicely, since I was actually sent here to kill him. Don't worry, I won't even try." She chuckled. "Though maybe the First Lady or Vice President should have some deadly women of their own. After all, I am positive there is at least one of my kind around who has been itching to get a good shot at Alice. I could have taken on the contract to kill Alice or the VP too but I don't kill my fellow females. The President... well I don't know why the Empress keeps trying to kill him, because now he has the VP... and it also would not be unheard of for the First Lady to become President in honor of her assassinated husband's legacy. It would be much easier to take the President down by taking down those he loves... which I was also told to do. So I thought I could help find my fellow assassins and help to keep Alice and Bessie May safe. I have no problem with being telepathically interrogated to ensure I am no danger to anyone. I just don't agree with my fellow assassins going after women, as we women actually rule the world." |

"Deadly Romulan assassin comin' through, outta the bloody way!" T'Kir said as she walked in with a huge box that blocked her vision. "Ye see a woman with a huge box the size of the moon and ye move like plodding cows." she muttered and set the box down. "Oh... bloody focking hell." she said when she saw Joanna. "Nae ye too? Ah'm really not in th'mood to tangle with ye again. So who's the target this time? Please let it be Malcolm. I'd even pay ye extra." "Oi!" Clara exclaimed and whistled. "There will be no bloodshed in this office. You want to fight like schoolchildren, do it outside or in the gym. Wanda, make your self useful and keep these two from killing each other. And... Joanna it would be literally a cold day when someone could actually take out the First Lady." "Indeed..." T'Kir said as she opened the box. "Twenty five council page jackets ruined by the sprinkler system when she got asked if she would perform fellatio on a council member. Need these jackets cleaned, asap before the next council session. Diplomatic Corps staff is still on holiday." "Joanna, I think you have a job." Clara said with a grin. "Hah. No." T'Kir said and shook her head. "An' if ye see the big boss man, tell 'im we another diplomat... I cannae babysit all the new allies by myself. I havenae eaten' a thing all day and it's already almost time to go home." |

Joanna just stared at T'kir and sighed. "So much for being an anonymous assassin. How did you even know about me before?" she asked and sighed again as she had been ectactic that no one alive knew that she was an assassin and they didn't know who she was, until she told them herself. And yet here is T'kir ... She shook her head. "I am not here for anyone. I came to try and stop someone taking out the First Lady and VP." She looked at Clara. "The First Lady is not immortal. Anyone can be taken out... even the immortal actually. You do know ice is the match for fire. No one is 'safe', and that is why I am here - to help. "What needs to be done to babysit them?" she asked T'Kir. "And I would like a chat if that's ok with you?" Edited by Amazon Assassins, Feb 7 2014, 04:46 AM.

"I guess I am late to the party." said Belle as she walked in and wasn't sure what she was seeing. "Clara?" she asked, wondering which one was Clara. "I am Belle, Executive Assistant to ... I was going to say Queen Bessie, but I guess it is Vice President Bessie May now. I was hoping to co-ordinate things between our people and yours, and the President and Vice President. Would now be a good time?" she asked.

"I can't say there's ever a 'good' time, just as Malcolm here says a 'series of less bad times'." Clara replied and gestured to an office. "I WAS hoping to finally get in touch with you. Honestly this is the first time we've ever had to deal with any kind of changeover like this. I am NOT looking forward to when the President leaves office, although who knows if I'm lucky the next administration will keep me on and I don't have to worry about transferring things to the new team." she laughed nervously. "T'Kir, Wanda... take care of... Joanna was it? You may as well start today Miss Cross. Isabella can get you set up." Malcolm walked up to Belle and whispered. "Welcome to the nuthouse. I hope y'have a good head shrinker, because y'll need it." "Malcolm! Stop scaring people. Or I'll tell you to Eff Off." Clara snapped back as she closed the door behind her and Belle. "Girl's growing a backbone. Fantastic." Malcolm said to himself as he turned on his heel and clapped T'Kir on the shoulder. "I'll leave y'ta handle the assassin turned secretary." "I'd tell you to kiss me bum but ye'd prob'ly fall in love an' I'd never get ye out of my hair." T'Kir retorted. "That tiny thing? That's even a bum?" Malcolm teased "Joanna, how would you like to go Foster hunting? I have the most wonderful sniper rifle collection in my office." T'Kir said with a wicked grin. ![]() Malcolm disappeared in a flash. |

"Actually, my head shrinker just walked in." Belle had said to Malcolm before he upset Clara and disappeared... just as Lorita Lora walked in. "Wait here." she said to Lorita and went with Clara. "I would love to go Foster hunting, or any other type of hunting." Joanna replied with a shake of her head at the banter between them. Then she looked at the head shrinker and chuckled. "I had a great childhood Doc, so don't look at me." "Well I am interested in the mind of a killer... care to let me pick both your brains?" Lorita asked. "I am sure you both *do* have a brain each right? With assassins, it is hard to tell. It's usually pay them and give them a target, tell them who to shoot, and that's it. They kill whoever, and then go and get their pay and move onto another target. Are you both like them?" She asked T'Kir and Joanna. "Or do you actually have a speck of humanity, honor and morality? Please tell me, do you have a heart?" Meanwhile in the other room, Belle had to laugh. "Oh Clara, maybe I shouldn't have asked Lorita to join me... let's just hope none of them are laying dead on the floor when we go back out. And I am glad that we finally get to meet. There is so much to do, and it can be a nightmare for sure. But if you help me, I promise I will help you too, and maybe we will both survive this madhouse." Edited by Belle, Feb 9 2014, 01:12 PM.

"Well if she is, it's her own fault." Clara said with a little giggle. "Sorry, that was mean, but... one does not psychoanalyze T'Kir D'zarndeln-T'Radiak. How a woman like that became a diplomat... but she gets results, gave up a lot within her people by joining the UFP then the UFP falls and now she's friends with her people again. It's... weird. And so is she. So Belle... what can we do together so that we both don't have massive psychotic breaks in the middle of the office?" |

"Well I was thinking, if you show me how your things are done, I could adapt how I do things so we are all on the same page." Belle offered. "And of course I can bring in more staff to the picture, which would stop the hissie fits." she replied. "As far as I can tell, there has been little to no contact with Bessie's people and she should have known things she did not. So first and foremost we need to enable best communication practices." she said as she thought of what needed to be done. "I know my people have not known who to contact here on planet, so first we need to set up a proper communication channel between your people and mine. So tell me, if my people try to contact TA, who do they ask for and what do they say to get heard?" |

"Well what exactly do you mean when they try to contact TA? It depends on who and what they are after. If it's just a 'take me to your leader' kind of proposition, then it goes through Becki who then routes it to who is best at answering it." Clara replied. "Typically the Navy and Byron handle ships incoming and clear them or not. If it's someone on the surface, then they go through our switchboard. If it's allies, then typically it goes through their representative and then wherever it needs to go through there." she shrugged her shoulders. "Keep in mind, every one's staff has gone though changes since this started and we do have to worry about communications viruses. Narlins created a system that was stolen sometime back that would disable starships simply through a comm. That technology has been countered, but we don't take chances. Everything from an outside system is scanned and checked and then put through, typically within miliseconds, if it doesn't pass security muster, off they pop and it's sent back where it came from." She handed Belle a padd. "I think part of the reason why your people haven't been kept in the loop as much is simply because we haven't had this conversation yet. Last allied group we worked with got very upset that we wanted access to their leadership and communications when we just met. So we're taking a 'call us when you're ready' approach. Which has worked in other instances. We still have people who think t'Dharvanek is still the VP and that she's got financials or diplomatic whatevers, she's not even on planet, she's off setting up a new Romulan colony and doing quite the lovely job." Clara looked at Belle and mused. "So I take it your people also need some space around the planet for your own colony hmm?" she pointed to a map with a couple of large land masses. "How much space you get depends on how many people you have and your original climates, like the Xenexians got a large desert for their colony as they're a primarily desert race, some of the Vulcans have gotten other deserts and more Vulcan like conditions. We do have a larger land mass surrounded by water. Keep in mind less than 25% of Terra Alpha has been populated and claimed." |

"I am afraid I am not the one to discuss what our requirements would be apart from saying we would be willing to actually purchase land to make our colony, which since our Queen is now your VP, it would mean we contribute to the financial feasibility of Terra Alpha. And I am not sure exactly how to explain, but if you have ever seen Lord of the Rings, our home is much like Rivendell... we live for wide open spaces, fresh air, and clear skies. We are not against buildings, as our architecture is like Rivendell, or it was. I am unsure how to modernize our cities to still look like Rivendell but be a modern metropolis. I don't know." She shrugged. "So that's up for other minds than mine. I just have to set up the original communication channels. I would also like to bring in Bessie's social secretary, so we can arrange for a dinner party to celebrate the official joining of our worlds." |

"Sounds like a lovely idea. Honestly we only SEEM disorganized right now because we're trying to refine what we've been doing. Sort of a... New Years thing. So much stuff we have and people are based on old UFP things. Honestly I think even the President wants to do a full overhaul of like everything. Even if its just in how things are named and titled. Even my position, I was just the one secretary that started doing things for the others and then I'm getting called 'Head Secretrary', growing pains." she hummed. "As for your colony, Nick's been handing that to an extent, simply because the last guy that was from the original terra forming team kept mixing Romulan and Standard measurements. Shiarrael fired him two weeks before she took her new post. I believe he's working at a MacDonalds. But... if you've got a good cartographer we could use him or her. Just hard finding trust worthy people when the bad guys keep infiltrating." |

"Well I was supposed to discuss with you how your VP can run an audit on .. everything I guess... to see where you succeed, where you fail... what you have, what you don't.. that sort of thing. I am supposed to help get it done, but I don't know who to work with. Unless that would be you?" Belle asked Clara. |
