"It feels a little tight, but it doesn't hurt anymore. And yeah, go ahead."

He stood up and walked up to her before he gently grabbed her cheek, he observed the cheek closely, he gently stretched a little. “Looks good...” he said as he ran his fingers over the cheek.

When Zerna's hand lingered on her face, Clio glanced sideways and then look at him. Unable to 'read' him telepathically, she instead looked for clues in his face. Curiously, she found none. He had more control over his face than most Vulcans. "It may need another treatment, but that can wait for a while."

“Indeed, I think it can fix the rest by it self, if you so chose, there will not be a scar, but there will be a line of hardened tissue here...” he ran his thumb over the old wound. “To here...” he was so focused on what he was doing that he never saw that she was looking at him. “It will only be noticeable by a more deep touch.”

"I think I can live with that. Honestly the scar itself wasn't that bad, just the pain underneath it. It was a little jarring to look at though... in all the fights I've been through no one had ever cut my face like that. I've had scars just about everywhere else, but not there."

“Well it would be a shame if...” he began when he made eye contact with her, his trail of thought simply vanished.

“Ehm...” no matter how much he tired, he had simply forgotten what he was about to say.

"Maybe I shouldn't be here while you're working if you're so easily distracted," Clio said teasingly, wondering what had changed recently between them. When he'd lived at Cordale, the only 'distraction' she'd really provided was as someone who needed to be kicked out of his lab.

Again he uttered a 'ehm', before he released her head. But his eyes was still focused on hers. “You have the most amazing eyes.”

She smiled a little. "Thank you. Most people find them strange."

“Why?” he could see how the muscles of her face reacted to her smile, it only added to the splendor of the eyes them selves. “I bet that silver iris would be perfect when it comes to reflecting the light from stars.”

"I wouldn't know anything about starlight. But silver is an unusual color in any species... we don't even know how it appeared. It's not a Vulcan trait, so I've always assumed it was from our early cross-breeding with other races."

“Or it was a mutation, the combination of two species may produce something nothing like neither parties. Something...” he smiled at her. “Truly wondrous.”

"Like red hair in humans? I'm not a geneticist, but I guess that makes sense too. Either way, I always liked the color."
