Orbit was too quiet.

The other ships could not talk to her, even if she could make herself heard. Any telepaths she could sense could sense her also, but none of them spoke to her. The only ambient 'noises' were the vibrations of engines and the sun's strange song, which reverberated against her hull. Soon the sun had become her only treasured companion, and that just wasn't enough for Peach.

She wanted to see people again. Watch the horses play. Listen to the birds. So she abandoned her orbital retreat and descended through Terra Alpha's atmosphere, eventually sinking past the clouds. For a while, just listening to the planet's animals was pleasing, but soon she decided that wasn't enough either. She wanted to go home.

She took her time getting to Cordale, trying not to panic anyone who might be watching. But when she reached the house, her pool was still uncovered and mostly empty. Curious, she eased close enough to the house to look through the windows with her sensors. Maybe someone was home.

After Zerna had left the data he had on her location, he felt that it was for the moment out of his hands. So he just stood there and looked out the large windows of the kitchen that lead the the deck, to his surprise Peach came down and more or less hovered over the ground. He had been so focused on Selene that he had forgot about his rescuer. So he hurried outside. "Hey Peach. Sorry if I have been distant, we are missing someone. I heard that you used up most of the gel." he walked up to the pool. "Yepp. Can you hover there for ten minutes? That is how long I will need to fill it again, just standard gel I'm afraid. For now."

Gently forging the now familiar 'visitor' link between them, Peach bobbed slightly until the connection solidified. I can do that. Who is missing?

"Selene." he answered as he walked up to the controls that was hidden in a pole next to the pool. "I heard you took some nasty injuries when you rescued me and Aglaia. I will have a look at the damage later if you want." he pressed a button and the sound of gurgling from the large pipes that lines the pool could be heard and soon fresh gel rushed in to the pool.

They are mostly healed, but the landing bay doors do not close right and I am missing an armor plate. But they do not hurt anymore. Curious, Peach crept close enough to the pool to see inside it.

"Thank you for what you did. It was a little wreckless, but thank you non the less. Do you want me to cover up the hangar so the gel don't get inside?"

You can do that? Genuinely surprised, Peach 'looked' at him and wiggled her wings slightly. Please? The gel is sticky when it dries... it is okay on the outside, but I do not like it on my interior walls.

He looked at the damage to the hull. "Maybe I can strap the tarp over the hull, seal it so the gel doesn't get inside. That way you can relax in the gel without worreing about the gel getting in. He looked at the tarp. It was heavy because of the weight, but it could be done if Peach rolled and used her momentum to pul the tarp over the injury. He attached there was already hooks on heavy duty ropes that helped keep the tarp in place over the pool. "Alright, I need to you turn around so I can attach these hooks to the armor plates on your back. Then you will have to roll so the tarp cover the injury, then I will hook the rest of the hooks to the plates. You can't go all the way under because it would probably make the gel flow over the edges. Is that good enough?" he rubbed his chin. "Maybe only partially fill the pool... What do you think?"

Yes, I think that will work. Moving sideways first so that she wouldn't smack into him, Peach rolled onto her side, revealing patch where the new armor was still growing. Just do not put the hooks on the new plate. It is too small and still fragile.

"Yes ma'am." he said as he started to attach the hooks. "How is water on the inside? Doesn't matter does it? Because I can fill the rest of the pool with water so your skin don't dry out."

Water inside does not bother me, and it will help wash away the gel's residue. So that is okay.

"Alright then." he looked at his handy work and nodded before he turned off the gel. "Would the madam please turn around so the tarp cover your injury."

Okay. She made a noise through the link that sounded like laughter and then rolled over in place so that the tarp wrapped around her belly. The material felt strange resting against her hull, but as it settled in place she noticed its weight less. No one else calls me 'madam.'

He stopped. "Should I not call you that?" he asked before he started to attach the rest of the hooks. The only thing that would be exposed of her was a section of her upper hull.

You may call me that if you like... I do not mind. The only other person who speaks to me is Miss Clio, and she has a lot of nicknames for me. Just not that one.
