"I don't know. How much do you know about Aglaia's systems?"

"Are you serious? I help Dad with the Aglaia-B all the time... he started teaching me how to work on her when I was six."

He groaned. "To much information!" he called out. "A simple 'enough' would be sufficient. I need power to bring Aglaia back from lock down. I think her power plant is cold after so long. You think we can borrow some power from the young lady?"

"There's a way to do that." She ignored his protest about 'too much information' and ducked inside the wreckage. "Peach has electrical ports hidden all over her walls. All you have to do is ask... there should be one close enough to plug Aglaia into."

"I think we will need more then one, it will take a while for Aglaia to get her power back on... I just hope the cores are not compromised. You can ask her if you want while I check on Aglaia's AI core." he said as he moved through the ship, the sound of things being kicked around could be heard.

"Okay." Callidora backed out of the wreckage and tapped a button on her blocking device, opening dialing it back enough to let Peach talk to her. "Hi, Peach. We need a way to give Aglaia some power. Do you have any electrical ports near her?"

I have several. How many do you need? Near Aglaia, several of the ports appeared as their covers slid up out of the way.

"I don't know yet. I don't think Aglaia has any power of her own right now, so she might need a lot of help."

I can do it. While the tank's pumps are on, I can draw nutrients from the gel without draining it. I should have more than enough power to help her.

Zerna finally reached the core. But without power he couldn't actually access it with ease. The core was in what looked like a diamond shaped vault, he opened a panel that was hidden behind more then ten panels that looked more like decoration. Inside was an old fasioned number combination with ten numbers. After he entered the right code, one of three locks opened as if it had been spring loaded. "This will take a little time..."

"I have plenty of time. And Peach has lots of ports open if you need them." Callidora looked around to find out where Jhu had disappeared to, finding her sitting on a dry patch of the floor some distance away. "Jhu might help too if you ask."

"That is up to her. Could be very boring if she just stay there." he said as he opened the second lock. "Could you try and give her some power. I don't know if I can open the vault by muscle."

"Sure." Callidora took one of the power lines and made sure it was connected to Aglaia's core before she took the end of it outside and plugged it into one of the exposed ports. "Is there anything to insulate these connections with? They're kind of open..."

Yes, but the transport pipes for the insulating fluid are broken... I will try to use my transporter to move it instead. Soon a small amount of the thick liquid sparkled into existence over the plug, solidifying into a thick gel.

"Cool. Just keep doing that with each one we plug in."

The last lock was opened and a gas was released from inside. It had been perfectly sealed and the gas helped protect against dust. "How is the power coming?"

"Got it plugged in. Peach is transferring power now... I can hear it." Callidora listened to the quiet hum of transferring power as it increased in pitch and then settled at a steady volume. "Should be running through the line now."

It is, but I do not think one line is enough. You will need at least two, maybe three. Aglaia is trying to pull more power than the line can take.

The lights where very dim but managable. He sighed, maybe it was enough to open the vault, he tried to open it but it wouldn't budge. "Damn."

"Well... at least the lights are on now." Callidora went back inside Aglaia to find another of the power cables. "One more should draw enough power so you an open that. I'll do it." She scrambled back out with the end of the cable, plugging it into another port and grinning a little when the glob of fluid appeared to seal it.

With the second cord in place, Peach felt the power transfer stabilize into an easier to maintain rate. I can maintain this transfer for as long as necessary, she assured them cheerfully. Unknown to her, bits of organic material fed into the cable, having found a gap between the cable's outer coating and the wires inside. The organic matter followed the electrical stream into Aglaia.
