OOC notes: First, I have no idea where to post this because it is not main plot based and it is not on the planet. So I post it here, you can move it later if you wish. Second, you should listen to this music; ( Youtube music ). It will give you a much better feel for the post. Third, the dresses that is spoken off in the post are these; ( Dresses ) Forth, it was originally thought to be a private thing for Mrs Jara and Miss Jara ( his dauther that is). But if Miss Crysta approves, the ones who have characters that come from the same timeline might be welcome to join, perhaps special guests who they might want to enjoy it too, as members of the guests. Alright, back to post. Enjoy and I hope you can feel what I am trying to give all of you. = Guardian Angel, Captain's Quarters = The grand piano that usually stood on the small stage by the large viewport to the Captain’s quarters had been moved in to storage in his personal buffer. Instead there were seven chairs standing in a semi-circle, facing to the centre where Jara stood, he was wearing his best suit and silk tie. It was a suit that his wife had given him so many years ago along with the tie. In his hand he had a shining trumpet and next to him on the floor was a human instrument, something that few would really appreciate because not many would be able to play it properly, a bagpipe. This was something he had wanted to do for some time, but the war had not really made for the perfect setting. He smiled at his wife and child before he placed the trumpet to his lips and started to play a short tune on it. As he was doing so, seven holographic versions of the ship AI, Aglaia gently materialized on each of the chairs. Each one of them held a string instrument, and ones he was done with the small intro with the trumpet, they started to play in perfect harmony. Their shiny dresses where identical with the exception of the color. From left to right they had Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and purple. The entire spectrum of the rainbow and as they played, Zerna picked up the pipe and started to play beautiful notes that matched the string orchestra behind him perfectly. The room had been prepared to give perfect acoustics and the sound that came back to him even made him loose tears. A little bit in to the melody, the Terra Alpha sun came out from behind the planet and gave the most spectacular sunrise imaginable, the light came of the silky dresses of the seven Aglaia behind him, making them practically sparkle, adding more shades of each color they were wearing to the already beautiful colors. ((It goes here... this is kind of the catch-all "near or on Terra Alpha" forum. As for other people joining in, I don't mind as long as there's a reason for them to be there. ))The beauty of Terra Alpha's orbital sunrise was something she hadn't seen for a very long time; when the war had come to Terra Alpha, there had been no time to enjoy it. Combined with the perfect notes from the pipe and accompanying strings, it brought a tear to her eye, one she didn't bother to wipe away. Beside her, Callidora stared in awe at the sight, one the young woman had never seen, and she smiled at her daughter's awe-struck expression. They had promised her when she was still very young that someday she would know peace, and now she was seeing it... if only for a few hours. |

Selene was rather surprised by the invitation from Jara to visit the Guardian Angel and in the Captain’s Quarters no less. She hadn’t intended on going but it was rear for Jara to take an interest in her since they had spoken that time on the Promenade, when he had apologized for the actions of his past self. Not to mention it was a chance to visit a ship from the future, her curiosity was peeked even if it was a little unsettling to be visiting a ship named after a dead version of her. She had slipped out of her quarters dressed in simple but slightly elegant attire and made her way over to the Guardian Angel. She had expected some kind of armed escort considering she wasn’t from the future but instead there was a lone man in a dress uniform waiting for her to escort her to her destination. He was friendly and gave no indication that he was there to serve any other purpose other than to escort her like an usher. The man deposited Selene at the entrance to the Captain Quarters and took up a position at the entrance to await her departure. Before Selene even stepped through the door, she could hear the sound of music coming through the door. It was light, airy, and beautiful but it was nothing in comparison to the sight that met her eyes the moment the doors slide open to allow her access. The sun was rising over Terra Alpha. It was one of the most beautiful sights she had ever seen the music adding to the sensation. Selene could feel herself being pulled into the moment and could feel herself being made bare. It was a very rare sight or even experience and until that moment, only one person had ever made her feel that way and she had left him sleeping in their bed. A single tear played at the edge of her eye before finally breaking lose and sliding down her cheek. If she hadn’t been so consumed by the moment she would have wiped it away and shoved those feelings aside but instead slide down her cheek until it reached her jaw and fell free, unnoticed. |

((Tiny bit of back-posting here, for giggles. But it'll line up with everything else at the end.))The invitation to come aboard the Guardian Angel and visit her captain's quarters had been unexpected, but not nearly as unexpected as the escort that had appeared at the door to take her to the ship personally. While she understood the logic of not letting people wander freely through the ship, she certainly hadn't expected someone in full dress uniform to come get her. Or to linger nearby after they'd escorted her to Jara's cabin, but she noticed other similarly dressed escorts in the room, one for each person who'd come but wasn't on the ship's crew. Old habits died hard, and before the music started she'd found herself inspecting the 'stage' area and other guests. Despite attempts from her escort to keep her contained to the sitting area, she explored the room, eventually finding a replicator hidden in the corner, which she easily convinced to produce a colorful approximation of a tequila sunrise - lacking, of course, the synthehol that would normally be in the cocktail. Nearby was a set of photographs, which easily drew her eye. Curious, she gave them a closer look, touching the corner of one of the frames. Most of them were of Callidora and her father, but one stood out, and she couldn't help staring at it for a few moments. At first, she couldn't place who it was, but as she looked at it and glanced back toward the seating area, her eyes widened a bit and she stared at it, almost not believing what she saw. In the midst of her reverie, her escort suddenly caught up to her again, pulling her away from the photos and back to the seating area, depositing her in a seat. "Quit wandering around or you'll have to leave," he said in a calm - but serious - tone before he took several steps away, far enough that she didn't feel like she was being monitored but still close enough to intervene if necessary. Despite the apparent threat, Jhu grinned a little as she took a sip of her drink, feeling like she'd still gotten away with something. Someone else was seated nearby, and when she glanced over she nearly dropped her glass on the floor. "Clio?" The other woman snorted at her. "Not exactly. And really, you shouldn't be so surprised. I thought everyone knew by now... we haven't really bothered trying to keep it a secret at this point. And well... there's no hiding it anymore." "Not me, apparently." Jhu rolled her eyes, wondering how she'd missed that memo. "So you're Callidora's mother... wait... how old is she? And what do you mean you can't hide it anymore? Because I sure didn't figure it out." Mrs. Jara raised an eyebrow at her, looking exceedingly puzzled. "You don't know." "I don't know what, exactly?" Mrs. Jara sighed a little, shaking her head. "Callidora. She's a psionic... you must have heard the story about the three muggers who tried to attack the horse carriage soon after the ship arrived here." "Well... yeah... I heard it... oh. I always assumed it was Clio throwing things around. It was Callidora? Really? You're not messing with me, are you?" "No." Mrs. Jara chuckled a little. "Not messing with you... I'm curious though. Why do you want to know how old she is?" "Just curious. Trying to figure something out... I mean, no one's told me anything about it, but I'm starting to wonder..." "Starting to wonder what?" "Oh, nothing important. If she wanted me to know she'd tell me." Before she got an answer, seven copies of the Aglaia hologram appeared on the stage, each dressed in a different color. A moment later the music began, and she found herself watching Jara play. While the Aglaia copies produced beautiful music on their own, it was Jara who brought forth the heart of the music. As they played, she also glanced at the large window behind them, wondering why it had been left uncovered to show the planet below. Almost before she'd finished the thought, the Guardian Angel shifted in her orbit, and the sun burst into view from behind the planet, filling the room with warmth and back-lighting the stage in brilliant yellow-orange. Something about the way the light glinted off the instruments tugged at her heart; whether it was the sheer beauty of it or something deeper, she didn't really know. While she had simply been watching before, suddenly she felt like a part of the show, almost as if she were on the stage herself. But she didn't know why... music had never really been a part of who she was. Sure, she liked to listen to it, but nothing she'd ever listened to had touched her so deeply before... Alexandria had walked into her quarters; she placed several pads down as she had just gotten off duty. She then noticed something waiting for her; Alexia picked it up and discovered it was an invitation. She smiled as she then went into her bedroom; she pulled out a nice outfit for her to wear. Alexia pulled a pair of good shoes to wear; she placed them onto the bed and quickly got out of her uniform and puts on the outfit she had chosen to wear. After that she puts on the shoes, Alexia then fixed up her hair nicely. She then walked out of bedroom and into the living area of her quarters, Alexia then started to leave when there was escort there waiting. From there Alexia was escorted from her quarters, in a short time she was on the Guardian Angel. She was escorted through and where she had to be, and once there Alexia looked around and everything looked beautiful to her. She sat down as the escort moved off; she listened as the music began playing. Alexia began smiling as she found the music very beautiful, the sunrise coming through was a beautiful sight to see making everything perfect in the room. |

Nick and Alice had gotten the invites to go up to the Guardian Angel and far be it for two very scientific minded individuals to pass up a chance to FINALLY get on board the future ship. Even though the one they REALLY wanted to get aboard was the Huntington. At first it felt creepy knowing that there was a future in which Alice died, but then again, a lot of others close to him died in a future that thankfully didn't come to pass. But they still finally had a chance to see a ship from over twenty years in the future. Dressing in his favorite Andorian silk tux and a tie that Angel made for him, he and a very elegantly dressed Alice made it up to the Guardian Angel, thankfully sans their usual Secret Service escort, as there would be a security escort waiting for them up there. The music struck him first, being one to appreciate a well performed piece, it was clear that this Jernal was quite a bit different from the one that everyone was telling him about. Clearly there had to be something that changed him a bit from the almost mad scientist like person that annoyed and delighted Clio, to this almost classy to a fault family man. He whispered to Alice. "So where do you want to sit?" |

“I think they’ve picked out seats for us.” Alice replied with a nod towards the front row where there were two empty seats. It was one of the things she missed about being ‘normal’ actually getting to pick out your own seat and sitting wherever the heck you felt like it. “Looks like Selene’s here.” Alice said as she caught sight of the room slipping to the back of the small group. |

"We need to do more concerts. I used to go to them all the time." Nick whispered as they made their way to their seats and glanced at Selene, nodding his head to her and gesturing to let Alice in first. "First ladies first." he said to the escort and looked around to see who else was there. |

OOC: Here is the second song. Of course you may still comment on the first one if you want, but I now give you more material to react too. So far there is at least 4 songs that will be played. So, enjoy. ( The second song played ) After the song ended, Zerna paused a little to accept applauds and drink a little before he started on the second song. This time it started with the pipe alone for the first few notes before the strings gently followed in. The first song was meant to move them and even if the songs that followed wouldn’t have the same impact on everyone, he hoped that the feel of serenity would still come through. As the sun was starting to come out completely out from its hiding behind the planet, the massive carrier tilted so that the light wouldn’t blind the guests. But the light still shined on Zerna and the seven Aglaia behind him. Not having the sun in the eyes would make the guests see the light reflect off the dresses far easier.
