It is 1997. In an unexpected move by the Dark Lord Voldemort, the demigods of North America are now in danger of being dragged into the second Wizarding War.

Britain had been suspiciously quiet for the first half of the year. There were no attacks, no murders, no mysterious disappearances...except for that of the Dark Lord and his Death Eaters. Despite this, the Wizarding world was anxious. Waiting, waiting for something to happen...

And suddenly it became public knowledge that the Dark Lord had moved his attention to America, for the time being. Why? What was he so interested in there when he had his own war to fight?

The uncertainty lingered over Britain, and every face was stricken with worry and tension until the answer became clear. The Headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore, was contacted by the Ministry of Magic, who in turn had been contacted by someone who called himself 'Chiron'.

The Dark Lord was attempting to lure demigods onto his side of the war.

Demigods? Most of the Wizarding population was not aware of the existence of them in history and mythology books, let alone in real life. They were certain it was a hoax until they saw both the Ministry and Dumbledore stand on the same side on this issue.

Attacks were raining the camp every month after every one of Chiron's refusals, and dozens of demigods fell each time. Demigods were lost faster than they could find more to help defend the camp, and the newest ones were given only the bare necessities in training before they were sent on the battlefield. The people of the camp had no idea that someone like Voldemort had even existed, and they wondered how he could know of their camp when it was obvious he was no demigod.

Chiron did not want his demigods to join Voldemort, to become Death Eaters, but he saw little hope of keeping them all alive if he did not give in soon...

And so Albus Dumbledore decided to ship those of his students who were interested in helping and that were willing to put their education on hold to the United States of America. It was their war, after all, even if it had shifted location. Members of the Ministry and general Wizarding public were also given the opportunity to help.

Now, the 'British Aid', as they have called themselves, have arrived and are ready to begin helping. The witches and wizards take magic-focused classes taught by magic instructors, the demigods take combat classes taught by seasoned fighters and they clash everyday in the Arena, training to ensure that Voldemort is defeated.

Where will your allegiance lie?

Wands and Daggers is a parallel universe to both the Harry Potter and Percy Jackson canon universe. Kronos does not rise, and the demigods' prime threat is Voldemort.
