In hopes to get a jump start on the PS3 release date in November later this year, Nintendo will be planning on releasing the Wii in October.

Some insiders are reporting that the console could still be released in late September as some where hoping for when news first broke about the system. A CEO at one of the systems component companies has said that the Nintendo Wii is already in production and processing full units at this time.

The news is fresh, and I'm getting mixed reports. Some say it's only 3rd party developers are getting ready for the later part of October, yet Nintendo still has games ready, or near ready for launch for september.

All I know is that my brother has like 500 dollars, so he'll get it the day it comes out.
