With PS2, dreamcast, and xbox. The systems brought us to a hole new generation of gaming. Nintendo graduated to disk's for this system, and stuck with its now growing tradition of very odd and unique controllers. All I remember my brother saying was how awsome it will be for the characters in the games to have seperate fingers. Looking back now makes me feel silly for being so syked for that. And hell, luigi finally prevailed and got his own game, and a very unique and fun game at that. It's also the founder of the best party game ever and sequil to the prior best party game ever, super smash brothers; the ever coveted super smash bro's mele. It also adopted the resident evil series, which is so loved today. But, just as nintendo made a bad choice with losing the final fantasy series, they also lost rareware. Rareware is the reason donkeykong, golden eye, perfect dark, and many other games exist. In other words, the sequil to perfect dark is sadly held to the owners of xbox, hense perfect dark 0 for xbox. So, although GCN is arguably the worst nintendo system, it's still fun to play and will always be fun to play. |

Losing Rareware is the worst thing to happen to Nintendo, probably ever. |
